10k a minute basically? That is pretty crazy. I knew Animation would be time consuming, and expensive. I never thought it would cost so much for animation though, not that much anyway. To save up, and put 100k in a project, is a huge investment.

Yep. Animation and art in general is quite costly. Making an animation smooth and detailed is a lot of work.

A massive part of that expense is paying your team. Some animators do it all themselves, but then they’re either super simple or take an eternity. Harry Partridge usually does it himself, and as a result sometimes only puts out 5 minutes of content a year.

You could still get into animation in terms of pitching to networks, since then they'd be the ones paying for the funding (at the sacrifice of losing some creative control), but it's more financially viable than funding it yourself.

This is by far my most anticipated indie web series, and I can’t wait to see it come out. The main characters I’m mostly excited to see out of Sesamoid are Rue, Kira and Warren. Though that doesn’t mean I am not any less excited to see gothboy/pretty boy drummer Quinn, dumpster diver/animal lover with the best singing voice Griff, and the energetic guitar shredding witch girl Piper.

I saw the teaser back in either 2021 or 2022 (hard to remember. I just remember serving as a janitor at the time), and initially paid it no mind, but then parts of it started playing in my head, so I spent my entire break at work one day sifting through my watch history to find it again. Bear in mind that I couldn't remember the title and I like to use KZbin as white noise when I work and sleep, and this was about a few weeks after seeing the trailer. Edit: It was 2022.

I'm actually here from Hazbin, but fell in love with this concept SO so much! I've been very passionate about this little band of goobers since I saw the littlest early nuggets of content. Glad to see you guys branching out on your own, that's very admirable. Can't wait to see this reach it's full potential and enjoying the ride along the way. Indie animation has been KILLING it lately and I know is only going to get more amazing as time goes on. And my best wishes to Paisley's family. I learned of Far-Fetched back when it was called "Hell-Puppy" (or Hell-Puppo). I don't begrudge the time ans effort you have and will put into this project.bknowing it takes professionals years to put out something of true quality makes me feel a little better about not writing, scripting, and animating my own game before I turned 30. Or even 35, at this rate. Thank you so much for all you've done. And I look forward to seeing it when you're happy with it. And best wishes to Paisley and her family. @@KATinBLACK I don't think it would have worked back then, either. The Scooby Gang and the Hex Girls became popular only in part because of weirdness. It was mostly because they're all cool, likeable characters...usually. These guys, on the other hand, not only come across as "cynical MTV stereotypes" that were old hat when they were new, they also come across as "How do you do, fellow kids?" Given that this is probably for adults, that's just sad.

Imma be 100% honest. Your character Quinn looks kinda like a character from the webcomic Vamp Sabbath. When I first came across this channel a few months ago, I thought your animation was going to be an adaptation of that comic. My mistake. This show looks so good! It speaks to me as a fan of the old scooby doo movies like the Witch's Ghost or Zombie Island, as well as Resident Evil and indie toons in general. The characters are so unique, the art is gorgeous, and I love the mashup of cute characters, goth rock, and weird horror. I hope for the very best with your work!

I’ve been following everything related to this series, updates, the comics, the songs, etc. After watching the teaser during its release, I already grew attached to all of the characters, and I really look forward to how this pilot turns out, but take plenty more time! As someone whose a genuine fan with animation, especially independent projects such as Digital Circus and Lackadaisy I wanted to say that I genuinely admire all the time and effort you two have been pulling in to make this project a reality. To be honest I'm still trying to find my passion to draw again and I hope it comes back soon since cool concepts and ideas such as yours reminded me why I love animation in the first place. It's to tell stories and feelings created through frame by frame drawings that have taken blood, sweat and probably tears to make. Currently I'm actually trying to make a manga for fun but, I really just wanna stop SAYING and start DOING!, Your words in this video reminded me of the phrase, NO SHORTCUTS, I see how much effort it takes to make something as fun as this and despite my busy schedule I really hope the pilot comes out. I find it nice to know that I'm not alone when it comes to struggling having your ideas come from pen to paper and turned into something pretty great in my opinion. I hope in the far future I could collaborate with you or even work on the music for the show. (Although my skills are very lacking), anyway I've been talking to long and wanted to say please DON'T RUSH ART, I completely understand where your coming from art takes time and that's a important thing to understand. I don't want a cyberpunk situation and people get mad at how half baked it came out!. Anyway I give my thanks to everyone involved in this and hopefully you'll get this pilot of yours off the ground and onto the screens!.
