This is real. My father and relatives tell me stories of the naqba. They fled and had only seconds to spare. It was leave now or die. Even one of my relatives accidentally grabbed a blanket instead of a child and she couldn't get her child back. No papers, no money, nothing. Needn't I mention the Deir Yassin massacre where they literally just went into a village and killed any Palestinian that can move or breathe. It makes me so happy that this movie is showing a dark side of history that Israel is still trying to hide. Realistic and emotional, Farha is a faithful representation of the Nakba reality Palestinians were living in the mid 19th century, but also the life Palestinians are still living nowadays. Overall congratulations for Farha, it’s amazing !! And I will strongly recommend it to all the people that would like to be more educated on the matter. Bravo as we say in French 👏🏼

This movie is the first opportunity for the underdog to tell their painful story of their plight to the world. Huge and overwhelming efforts are in the making by their oppressors to block this truth. Please go watch the movie and see how much wrong was done to these people over the years. Their enemy is so powerful and far reaching but your souls are stronger. I myself lived similar horrors growing up in a refugee camp. Many times the Israeli soldiers stormed our house breaking the front door in the middle of the night beating up my parents, myself and my brothers and sisters because we did not obey their orders to be rounded up in the school yard of the camp. Rounding people up in the school yard and beating them up was a usual practice of collective punishment for the whole population of the camp for participating in protests against the occupation.
