@@NormGfishing great and all, but man it would sure be nice to just not tell the world. Just look at headwaters man. It's ridiculous how many people go there. Now let's promote this place so 1000 more people come here. I wish headwaters was still kyack only. It's absolutely abused man. To be there om your own is a gift from God. I'm fishing it, but I try to keep it to myself. Guess what I mean is,can we not just keep it great. Hooked on headwaters show is like a bomb for that lake. Trying to launch is ridiculous as well. Your shows are cool. But damn, lake needs a break.

Adam, I understand. Headwaters is crowded. Major League Fishing, Roland Martin, and KZbinrs from everywhere have hyped the place up... Headwaters is not fishing the same way as the kayak only days or like 2 years ago. Tremendous pressure. Farm 13 has always been on the radar. Bass Masters... and others have promoted it for years. It is just part of the deal... I do not think we can get around it. But, not everyone knows how to fish or know the key spots.... some can be seen in the vids, but not all. The locals know the key areas that the most do not. Thanks for the post.

@@NormGfishing yea bro. The fact is, they are ruining this lake. They did the same thing to the stick marsh years ago. I fished it when there was a muddy ramp. I just wish people would stop telling others to keep coming here. I'll pull up to launch and say what's the point. Lake Garcia is another one. You can't even park anymore. I directly blame outdoor adventures and hooked on headwaters. Granted they are some great guys ,Roland is the man. But all there doing is exploiting the fishing. I happen to really enjoy what you do. Your fun. Boat,after boat,after boat suppresses the fishing big time. Needs to be closed for awhile, again kyack only. Getting in the boat ramp is like being on a 95 traffic jam. You would think guides would be sick of it. Live bait fishing,videos even show throat hooking a 10 pd fish. That fish is not gonna make it. Anyways brother you keep rocking. I'm just one of those local people who don't like a traffic jam while bass fishin..its ridiculous. Really enjoyed your video on 3 forks ,I can't get out there in my tracker.

Great video Norm. I love Farm 13 and hope this drawdown will improve the lake vegetation and water clarity. Great job finding the fish on the west side. Your boat is perfect for that situation. Loved the drone footage as well.

Great to come across you Brian. You and I have some good experiences in Farm 13. Never been when it was this low but it was fairly low a few times when I used to go there. Still happy you saved the day for me with my PB fish as you had the only phone camera to take a picture. Remember we caught some Pickerel in there too. Only did that one time and never saw them again. Take care and glad he showed us what this lake looks like now. I wonder how he got across the berms in the middle of Farm 13?

Skie, thank you. I was going slow in the stump field so no dents. The hull is thick with a stump guard transom so as long as I go slow it will not be an issue.

During normal water levels, when the water is reasonably clear, I've always done VERY well up & down that entire west bank. I've literally lost count on all of the 6 to 8 lb'ers I've caught up & down that entire west bank during the cooler months from mid November through April. I've caught big bass here on both artificials as well as wild shiners. My single best day ever here, was back in late November of '05. Using wild shiners, I fished only in the cove of that SE spillway and never moved. Didn't need to: I caught 35 bass weighing 165 lbs!!! The 5 biggest that day was: two 10's, a 9, and two 8's, for a 45 lb five fish limit. My biggest bass from Stick Marsh/Farm 13 so far is four 12 lb'ers. 2 came on shiners while the other 2 came on artificials.

You will have no issues with a kayak and trolling motor setup. Just take it easy in the flats due to all the tree stumps in the shallow water. The canals are good.
