You have good looking chickens Laura! I love the rusty orange ones! Funny how you either “love or hate” chickens! I guess the same goes for all animals really. We used to live near a goat farm and they had the “dwarf” ones...they were so cute, especially the kids! So little! They had all the children’s toys for them to climb all over. Like you stated, it is funny to watch them! LOL!!! I love seeing your home from far off with that beautiful color roofing! Love it !!! Hope all is good!!! Nice to see an update.

Yes I’ve been realizing that!! I am definitely going to be further separating them. I don’t mind babies coming but I don’t want them coming in the middle of winter!

Life of Laura agree!! That creates a whole new issue of keeping them warm in a barn with heaters if need be! If you have seen females being interested and receptive it is probably a done deal already 😳😳 Gestation is only 150 days so you'd be looking at Late Dec or early Jan. Keep us updated! 🐐🐐🐐

Woo Hoo, you're keeping the farm ! So happy for you, Laura! So now.....you may want to consider getting a Livestock Guardian Dog. LGD. > My choice is a Great Pyrenees, Maremma Sheepdog or a Anatolian Shepherd. (much easier than a donkey!) I bet you know someone who has owned one....? They live to....love and protect their family & the land they live on. Their family includes: People (Adults & Children) All livestock, big or small > cows & horses, - yes, goats, rabbits & chickens, also friendly with other dogs and cats. etc. They can patrol & protect acres of land from all predators. It is a rather large house and farm, especially at night.....Haha. > I've had two Great Prys, both males weighing about 125 lbs. Both 'Gentle Giants' and both house dogs. lol. We had 10 acres, but no livestock. But, they did keep the bears out of our yard! > Subscribed and now Binge watching from Canada, Eh!

@@LifeofLauraVideos Come in mid April, the trees are blooming and some of the cactus. The cactus blooms have a thick petal, reminds me of orchids. Beautiful. Visit the Sonora Desert Museum near Tucson. Fantastic place.

Love you animals! Are you raising the chickens to eat or just to lay eggs? Years ago, when I got married, I went into my mother-in-laws chicken pen and caught a chicken, I was thinking I'm going to cook a chicken for supper. Well as I was holding the hen, both of us was looking at each other. Needless to say, I put that chicken down and walked out of the pen. 😄😄 If I had that male goat, I'd name him Billy!😁😁

Yes we do get snow! We’re going to move them into the barn for the winter. My dad is going to help me fix up a small area for them. Glad to hear your mom is doing better! Hopefully she gets outta there soon!! ♥️♥️
