This is definitely by far my favorite property in Portugal. I have watched this video so many times, because I love the look, the rural atmosphere, and the serenity. I know it has sold at this point, but I love returning for the ambience. Ken did an excellent job filming, gathering much details of the property, and scenery. As a former Realtor, this makes a huge difference to the viewer.

This is a big property to manage, and you need to be young and healthy to do it. I don't blame the woman for selling it, but it is paradise.As you were showing the property, I imagined the lovely pine scent and the 'smell of Portugal'. Saudades!

I'm also a Portuguese born living in Australia and watching these videos reminds me of how beautiful that country is, with all said I agree with the fact that the property requires a lot of maintenance/work something that would suit better a young family with their mum and dad living in the property to help out, the older folks know to work hard and maintain this sort of property, I'm nearly 63 and no way in hell I would have the energy to look after that place that in my view is extraordinary and well put together.

When I was little my parents made me go to church and catechism; from 5th to 12th grades i went to two different catholic schools (on secundary school i even had 2 nuns schoolmates, for real!)... And now I'm an ATHEIST! My brothers (we are 3) we're all atheist; a great part of my friends are atheist; and, this is true, the nicest, goodest, peaceful, coolest people i ever met are all atheist. And weirdly enough, some of the most bitter, rude, angry, racist, warmongering people i ever met were some of the most intense religious people, the "spread the word of the good lord" ones (go figure). Luckly, these specimens are rare and are disappearing. As You can see, I think it's not religion that defines the goodness of people. It's the basic common sense and goodness to eachother.

Yes it is a lovely place. The owner has health complications making looking after so much land difficult so they need to downsize. They have put so much love and care into the place and it really shows :)
