I loved this long video! I had it playing in the background, as I was making your pot holders from your book. Giving some away for Christmas this year and making a few new ones for myself. Lisa, thank you so much for this! I have had it on as I do things. I have cried most of the time, some sad, but a lot of happy tears as well. This reminds me of our little family. Our oldest married someone who wants nothing to do with us, it’s been over 5 1/2 years now since we’ve heard from him. Never in a million years could we have thought this could happen to us. Anyway, Pray for your children’s future spouse, because they can come in and destroy. I often Pray that The Lord will convict his heart. I have my memories though. I know that only our Lord can change hearts. But I wanted to thank you for this, we used to always go to Branson, the shows, the cinnamon rolls, all of it, sweet times, sweet memories. I know that with The Lord there is always hope. Thank you, thank you! Great job as usual, it ministers to my soul. Can’t wait to see your beautiful new home come to fruition! YES! Our church does a drive through Journey to Bethlehem in the parking lot. My kids and I were shepherds one year. It's always so enjoyable and gets you in the holiday spirit.

This must be such a great idea for those who love Christmas. I might try to enjoy, because i can defijitely dig into the baking portions. But unfortunately, Christmas is a very confusing and tricky holiday for me. I write this comment just because i wonder if anyone else is out there similar to me. Our family believes in Jesus, and we love nativity scenes and things like that. But a lot of decor and traditions dont have a direct relation to the birth of Jesus, and this has personally convicted me to opt out. So we dont use Christmas trees, and we are trying to teach the kids another view on gift giving, but the relatives constantly make this tricky. I do find christmas decor pretty, but its just not for me. If others do participate, i never view them with judgment or with contempt. I bless them and enjoy their hard work if im visiting a friend. But its hard to explain my views to people, because if i tell people its been over commercialized like valentines day, it might offend them 😢 Thanks for whoever read all this. I feel heard just sharing. ❤

I think I understand your conviction. We did not do SC in our house, but my son was instructed never to ruin it for anyone else. Christmas for us is a time of reflection and gratefulness for our Redeemer's birth. We did do gifts with family and friends, but now I'm so over the commercialization that has made secular life that much more unappealing. We take a trip (Branson this year!) and spend quality time together and enjoy the season that way. Blessings to your family ❤

I just don't worry about it...if they get a little dirty or if they blow off I'll just rehang them...if you wrap the hanger around it shouldn't blow off anyway....
