Apollo is our 11-year-old, pure-bred Friesian he is a good horse for a beginner rider. He has a lovely collected canter and is a great farter. He is herd leader over Farouk who is a pure-bred Arabian horse, Farouk is 9 years old and loves galloping and is a good endurance horse. He is the Grandson of the famous Marwan Al Shaqab and then there is Princess Bella a Four-Year Old pure-bred Andalusian filly her speciality is bucking and jumping for joy.

He did very well being so nervous! Your work has so paid off for him and his ability to manage his emotions. So impressed with you, Farouk and Rens! And I love it that you lead him on a loose line. That's just so reassuring to a nervous horse- no tension on their head so they can look around and even startle if they need to without being jerked on... He is just such a beauty in every way...

Farouk is a sweetheart ... ready to accommodate the farrier & the vet if she wanted to check his feet. I am sort of surprised they are holding the vetting in a big "echoy" building. I would think many horses might find the noise / echoes a bit worrisome. He is looking fit & ready to go. I am looking forward to the next installment.

Farouk enjoys the calm, peacefull and harminous order of Tara and Ren. The concrete echos within the vetting buildind were anything but. I could not make sense of it either, voices and hooves, Echos, horses trotting. Farouk was probaly trying to place all of this in some context, show again??. Farouk, his hot blooded nature and previous show ring self did very well indeed!

Farouk enjoying a nibble of grass is pleased to be on holiday, he was thinking that when he gets home he is going to tease Apollo by saying Welsh grass is more lush, tender and tastier than anything he has ever tasted and that there was plenty of it. However he forgot all about that when he went into a noisy barn with concrete floor and plenty of places for monsters to hide.

Poor Farouk did not like the echo in the Vetting building & he sure gave those cracks a hard look. Thank goodness all was well & he passed. We couldn’t hear what the farrier was saying but by the look of his face he seamed impressed with Farouk.

Actually, I liked the bit with just the music. Farouk seemed a bit on edge from the start - a new place to him? No doubt it will all work out. Your calm demeanor assures Farouk so much and he enjoys these events. 💞

Farouk was definitely on his toes! I think the wind was helping him get excited with the rustling of the leaves and all the competition walking by even before the vetting! He had excellent manners for the farrier lifting his feet without prompting! Good luck and enjoy! 🏇🚀⭐️❤️❤️
