Deceptive speech for the following 3 reasons. 1) Many examples in Scandinavia (e.g. Sweden) show collectivism and a free market can coexist while generating wealth 2) Argentina's biggest problem is corruption 3) The free market concept has its limitations when you have oligopolies managed by the billionaire class. You can have the best idea but competitors with poorer products can put you out of business with their cash and influence.

The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs"... “I sincerely believe that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies, and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity under the name of funding is but swindling futurity on a large scale.” ~ Governments are incorporated they have the same owners as the mega corporations. Everyone in that room is 💯 for the exact opposite which the speaker proposes. His understanding of economics is woefully inadequate. It makes for a great speech to blame every single problem in the world on one scapegoat though, his political opponents. If anyone is trying to convince you that what makes some people rich and others poor as the rich people are more free than the poor, time to start throwing some massive grains of salt. The people of China are significantly wealthier than those of Argentina, I don’t think anyone in Argentina would claim they are less free. It is possible to be rich and repressed or free and poor. I know it sounds really good to people struggling with economic hardship that all they need is a little more freedom and they can be just like the billionaires, but all that extra “freedom” is just going to give them more power of you when you have to negotiate in the “free market”. If a monopoly controls all of the food because you can’t restrict the “freedom of business”, how free are you?
