FYI proving is when you let it prove and then knock it back and shape it. Once it’s shaped you let it rise but ppl always use them interchangeably. Josie, I agreed with Charlie . Put the floral pillows and in the bench seat . Do your chair in a solid color and you can put a little floral pillow too , maybe with a throw blanket on a contract color from the floral fabric . This way if you get tired of the floral pattern you just change the pillow and the bench .

If you brush the dogs regularly you will prevent the matting of their fur. I used to have a collie with fur that was soft and would mat however regular brushing prevents it and it will prevent skin irritation and other hidden nasties.

Things I love about this post: Dexter enjoying HIS new sofa, Charlie calling Josie “Darling” when he corrects her about the pipes and how easily y’all whip up another delicious Indian dinner. I was more into the darker green paint until the second you mentioned gold trim and gold tassels and then I realized the emerald green was the right choice so excellent job choosing. Completed gutted by the unhappy followers who thought you rude to accept the bespoke cushions 🙄 do they not realize how much work and exposure this lovely lady will get. Sounds like a win win to me. If you order more sofa fabric, order lots to make a pad or runner for your sofa cushions to preserve them. Or find a fabulous blanket or throw rug that matches or compliments the sofa color and wrap your seat cushions. I’ve done that with two 20-year-old sofas, and five dogs later, the original seat cushions are perfect. 😉👍

The green sofa and ottoman are lovely. I did the same thing in my den. I keep an antique brass tray on the ottoman for drinks and a box with tv remotes. There is still room to put our feet up to stretch out. In addition to floral fabrics I recommend looking at some plaids, tweeds and stripes for pillows and additional chairs. For a country home they would be perfect.

I've been enjoying your videos about your home! I am sure you get alot of suggestions about your home decor. Here I am voicing my opinion, also:). I think it is best to live in the house for awhile, before you make decisions what to do with all these beautiful rooms! For now, you should invest in the most important areas. For the room across your beautiful kitchen you just need couple of end tables and lamps( neautral base), on the other side, an antique armoire to hide the tv, a comfy chair, a small side table and a standing lamp. Also you need a big neutral rug, since you want to introduce some floral fabrics in the cushions. A big gray, cream, or a natural jude rug would look beautiful with all the other elements . It helps to hire an interior designer. It will always save you time and money!

Hi 👋🏻 yes there are 3 shades in the body shops new bronzers fair, medium and dark. Medium being 03. 🙂 I use 03 although I’m more In love with the glow bronze powder which is luminous but just comes in the one shade to give a subtle sheen & glow 😎❤️

That dressing room is going to be georgous! I agree with carrying the cabinetry into the bathroom. I think the gold mirroring is stunning. The house is really taking shape! You are correct with the statement it taking a decade to do. I'm almost three years into my new home and still have four rooms to go plus new light fixtures. 🥴. Once you get the rooms fictional (beds, chairs tables, window coverings) you can really focus on detailed decor. Plus be open to changing things around...about 100 times before you are satisfied 😉💖. Love your choice in the Color of the Sofa. We have (2) afghan hounds who love the 6ft. round ottoman. Forgive me for giving unsolicited advice. I have a host of "Doggie " blankets that I throw over the ottoman before the dogs are allowed to jump on it ensuring the longevity & enjoyment of the furniture.
