I love everything about British vernacular buildings and your house is from the Tudor period. Amazing history! The restoration was incredibly done and so sympathetic to that history. Hello. I commented once before that I have always enjoyed your fashion videos as you rewoke me to dress types and styles that I'd not worn in years and made me more confident to exploring white, off white, blush and pink colors as well as gold jewelry as I used to wear platinum, white gold and silver mostly... I am a bit older than you, half Mexican Hispanic and half Italian decent from the US, New Mexico, south west part of US. So I am a brunette and was stuck on a bit of a different color palette. So thank you again for your videos as they inspired me and got me unstuck from the same old. I do want to point out however that I have been enjoying your new home, moving in, upgrading, and decorating home ideas as I also have an older cottage style home and needed some new "old" beautiful classic decoration and upgrading ideas for my home as I was stuck and bored a bit with my home and needed some much needed inspiring to renew my home and start enjoying it again as I was a bit bored with it. I hope that once you have completed projects in your home you will continue filming new things that you are doing , even small projects in your home as just getting even glimpses of your home inspire me to continue projects in my own home and living space. I mentioned that I also have dogs and they are precious to me so I very much enjoy you including you including your very nice family, Charlie, Dexter and Dickens. I think I once mentioned to you, to use that area near the front door as a receiving area for all your incoming packages and mail, to save it being dragged all through the house! It’s so convenient to the front door and keeps everything in one place and all the mess when unpacking.

That BED!!!! Part of the joy of coming along this epic journey with you, is to come along with you and virtually experience the process! Personally, I know I don’t want to wait weeks and even months before seeing everything “complete”! Thank you for deciding to share your glorious master bedroom delivery! The final reveal will always be an exciting and spectacular moment! Perhaps even more so because we’ve come along the journey with you... every wonderful step along the way! Let me start by saying the furniture you chose is magnificent! Your bed and chaise lounge are absolutely exquisite! The soft, curved lines and beautifully carved details are the perfect compliment to all the square lines of the 17th century-esque wall paneling! I happen to be a big fan of Versailles and when visiting years ago, it completely changed my entire design aesthetic from very contemporary to loving all the gorgeous curved and carved craftsmanship! Perhaps not to the degree of overt opulence everywhere you look at Versailles, but certainly incorporating some of the fabulous elements amongst some favorite Edwardian and Georgian pieces too! I think an eclectic mix is perfect for your home... because if you were to use 14th century aesthetics all around “keeping true to the history” might be way too rustic and not very pleasing to a discerning eye! Plus, during this amazing history of this manor, who knows throughout its time how many French friends or relations were part of this home? Bring in whatever aesthetic that speaks to you and you can style it to make it work and be absolutely spectacular! The thought of sipping on your morning tea, looking out at your incredible view, while reclined on your gorgeous chaise lounge is beyond heavenly! However, silk fabric unfortunately doesn’t do particularly well in direct sunlight. The chaise may have to be relegated to further down the wall by the floor lamp, protected from your windows. Perhaps a couple of Bergère chairs and a coordinating, shared ottoman in a more direct sunlight-friendly fabric might do for admiring the views!?! I see them facing each other with the ottoman in between, so as not to detract from the view while lying in that glorious bed! The room is certainly substantial enough to warrant more than one seating area! Or perhaps moving the chaise to the end of the bed might keep it out of direct sun!?! Some things to ponder while creating your perfect oasis! I’m so thrilled you found such gorgeous furniture and I look forward to you finding other great pieces and accessories to make this your favorite room of your home! I always think your bedroom should be a beautiful and serene place where you look forward to spending your time. Congratulations on your great choices! Well done!!! 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
