Wow I personally think Novolin R works better than all of them if u eat low carb. Just my opinion.

Interesting--- I don't use novlin R much. Very rarely only when cost is an issue with the newer ones.

Hi. I had Lyumjev, but, it was lowering my blood sugar too quick and after, my blood sugar was rising because of the protein or fat that i was eating and i had to take another shot of insulin. So, i have now Novorapid, but, i'm searching for something else, that it has one hour longer acting time. Can you recommend me one? Lyumjev: 1 hour, Novorapid: about 2 hours. Tested with CGM(Libre 3). Type 2. Thanks

Just the particular one generic uvalog. I was taking Novalog before but my insurance stopped covering it so I had to switch.

@@flow685 aha, I see. These insurance companies 🙄. So if you’re having a reaction to the generic, your doctor can write a letter of medical necessity so the brand can get covered.

@@flow685 the newest is Lyumjev. Fastest acting and can be taken after a meal for patients who don’t always know how much of the meal they will actually finish. Fiasp is also faster acting than the older ones. I have a video on fast acting insulins if you get a chance to watch. You may find it helpful
