Chris - great video, thanks for your content. Really interesting to see the move away from Core i9 to 13th gen i5 13600K, I've always been an i5 guy, I dont have the need for i9. I currently use a tweaked version of your EFI in my Z590i build a vision D Z590, with i5 11500 with RX6600. Your new build is awesome - really like the subtle RGB light through the mesh case.

Cool mal wieder ein Video von dir zu sehen 😄 Bin durch dich auf das Thema Hackintosh gestoßen und fand deine Hackintosh Serie sehr interessant und anregend um vor einer Woche meinen ersten Hackintosh Build auf AMD Basis zu konfigurieren. Jetzt läuft alles nach etwas Recherche sehr gut und es fehlt nur noch das USB Mapping, welches ich über das Programm USBToolBox in Windows einstellen muss (in Hackintool wird bei meinem B450 Aorus Elite eine ganze USB 3 Reihe nicht angezeigt, aber der USB Stick wird erkannt. Freue mich schon auf deine weiteren Videos 😄✌️

Very helpful video. I noticed that you are not using the MOD version of the Opencore package - the one that allows you to only apply ACPI changes to OSX and not any other OS's. Do you have any issues booting Windows with your config?

Sach mal, hast du ne Idee was genau bei mir falsch läuft, dass ich erhebliche Probleme mit dem Bootloader (Opencore) habe? Zugegeben, ich bin absoluter raw Anfänger in Sachen Hackintosh aber hab soweit erfolgreich Ventura auf meiner Kiste zum Laufen gebracht. Nutze en i5 13400, RX 570, SSD usw. Also die Hardware ist nicht das Problem. Aber wenn ich in dem Bootloader bin, der bei dir ab 0:36 zu sehen ist, fängt der jedes mal an wie bei der Installation, diese Commands runter laufen zu lassen. Anstatt dem schönen Apple-Logo mit Ladebalken, kommt nur so ne Art automatische Eingabeaufforderung, bevor es dann kurz wie "neustartet" und dann aber auch ohne Probleme innerhalb Mac OS ist. Danach läuft alles. Wenn ich dann allerdings wieder zu Windows will und per Neustart in den Bootloader gehe, schafft mein PC es bei jedem ersten Versuch nicht ins Windows zu booten, sondern muss nach dem ersten Versuch neu starten und dann geht es, obwohl ich dann wieder einfach über den Bootloader die Windows Festplatte auswähle. Hast du oder jemand anderes en Hinweis, woran das liegen könnte? Ich weiß, is ziemlich schwierig per Ferndiagnose ohne Logfiles oder dergleichen. Aber vielleicht ist das ja en "common noob problem"?

Hi, super Video. Auch schön das du zeigst wie es zusammengebaut wird. Evtl. kannst du mir etwas helfen. Beim Asus B660M Wifi Plus steht, dass nur Prozessoren bis zur 12 Generation unterstützt werden ? Der Intel 13600k doch aber 13te Generation oder nicht? Ich wollte mir mit dem Case auch einen PC basteln. Als Prozessor wollte ich den i5-13500 nehmen. Würde der da drauf passen ? Was ich mir geacht hatte: Prozessor: i5-13500 Netzteil: ASUS ROG Strix-750G RAM: Kingston FURY Beast 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz DDR4 Grafikkarte : VGA Zotac NVIDIA GeForce RTX3060 Twin Edge OC 12GB Festplatte: Samsung 980 PRO CPU Kühler : NZXT Kraken X53 240 mm Case: ASUS Prime AP201 MicroATX Mainboard ????? :) Hier wäre guter Rat hilfreich :)

Danke. Also wenn du macOS installieren willst, solltest du das Board nehmen was ich genommen habe. Sonst wird’s gefummel und du scheinst dich nicht viel damit beschäftigt zu haben. Der 13500 ginge auch. Im Prinzip jeder 13th Gen Intel. Und für macOS brauchst du auf jeden Fall eine Intel gpu. Nvidia wird nicht unterstützt.

ASUS TUF GAMING B760M-PLUS WIFI D4 Mainboard Sockel Intel LGA 1700 (Intel B760, mATX, DDR4 Speicher, PCIe 5.0, 2x M.2, WiFi 6, Thunderbolt 4, Aura Sync) Das werde ich jetzt nehmen. Scheint alles dabei zu sein, ins Gehäuse zu passen, ist 760er und ready für den Chip. Falls wer noch Einwände hat oder ein passenderes kennt..... :))

Hi Chris, how are you? I have a perfectly working hackintosh with the same components. My only drawback is that I can't open or preview 10-bit files on the Sony A7sIII with quicktime. VLC opens them just fine. The rest of the files I open perfectly. Do you have the same problem? do you know how to fix it?

When I open them, a quicktime window appears that says "incompatible content" I can hear the audio but with completely black video.

Hi, and thank you for the video. When I put in your presented components into the New Egg PSU Calculator, it suggests having a wattage of between 900 - 1199. Seeing that your system is running smooth with only 750W, I'm curious to know how you did your calculations for selecting your PSU. Is the New Egg calculator a gimmick?

Yes 😂. 750W is enough. System never draws more than 550W. More likely 400-500W in Games. Yesterday I just did a test. But if you want to be safe, just get a 850W. I just had the sf750 from my Mini itx Build and never had any issues even with the 11900k and 6900XTX. An the 750W was the maximum for SFX PSUs at that time.

As far as Win 11 & "Secure Boot": it's possible to disable Secure Boot in bios setup, yet Win 11 will still install & work ok. For Win 11, must be an 8th gen Intel CPU or newer & "CSM disabled".

@@chriss.3335 btw, you can now undervolt b660m w/o hurting the cpu performance. Saw your cpu bios voltage is a bit high, just in case you didn't know it's available now. Steps: Update Bios --> Tweaker's Paradise --> Switch Microcode (change to 0x104 Microcode) --> Reboot --> Global Core SAID Voltage & Cache SVID Voltage (change to offset -), you can play with it to knock off some extra heat, mine is now stable at 1.2v. It was crazy how the manufactuers let the voltage defaults over 1.3v. Hope it helps, cheers.

No, because NVIDIA isn't hackintosh compatible, only AMD (up to the 6000 series) and Intel iGPU (up to the 10th gen)

@@ricardog.s2505you can use Pascal cards with older versions of MacOS, and you can use 10th Gen EFI with higher Gens. 12/13th Gen lose their E-Cores.

Read the comments in the config.plist. You don’t have to generate these. Just use this config. And if you have another GPU, disable SSDT-BR0-6900XT and delete device properties.
