Don't understand how you missed the channel.Did you call VMR for info on the channel and tide?

The keel damage is a new and significant issue, whatever the outcome hopefully you will continue sailing, cheers, Col

That's really bad news about the keel. Kinda shocked to see how much damage was done at the rear. Hope it all works out okay.

Wow, now the boat is out of the water the damage to the stern is quite significant but of greater concern is the damage to the keel. I am not saying this is the case but sadly that damage could have caused currently unseen damage to the keel grid which in itself, while repairable, a major job. Boats can be replaced, humans not so much.

That's exactly right Greg, just have to be philosophical about these things I guess. I guess I've got a few days to stew over it now until I get the answer back from those that hold the purse.
