Fast and Furious 1 and 3 were the best as they stuck to the formula of the films being about street racing! The rest were bunk in my opinion!

I haven't seen this one yet but I do have a very real soft spot for this franchise. It's the sort of thing that I can just watch if I want over the top action and chase scenes, and they do go all out (and often quite inventive) with their chase scenes. Why people turn their noses up at this stuff while gushing over Marvel films is beyond me. Marvel are no less surface level in their themes for the most part and they otherwise fulfill that same "get yourself to the theatre and have fun" enjoyment centres of the brain.

I've only ever seen the first FF film before but I saw at lot of the filming of this movie, outside the hotel I used to work at in Edinburgh. I think they were chucking Vin Diesel over a bridge, very slowly and boringly (and probably digitally). In fact, THE ACTUAL POLICE made me late for work one day cos they stopped me and I wasn't allowed to go past that bit Renton runs down those steps at the start of Trainspotting (which I used to do every day, choose life by the way)

Killed off characters returning can be a great/confusing plot point..but it can also ruin the films as it doesn't make sense..the one actress got killed off as she got arrested in real life for drink driving..she was also killed off in Lost,I did enjoy Jason Statham and his brother returning as allies

I don't like this big, dumb franchise. But if the next one isn't called FastTen Your Seatbelts and I'm here to see it, I'll be very disappointed.
