Dr Mandell, you taught us the pressure point of your thumb on the bridge of your nose between your eyes and hold it for 2 minutes. This works, it really works. I'm the one it has worked on with great results and will always be greatfull for the tip, because it works. I hated to go to Kaiser because they would flip you upside down and then turn you on your side really fast. Oh my goodness, you would feel like falling off of the chair they had you in. I hated that. Thank you Dr Mandell, and God Bless you.

Hi Doc, I've spent several thousand out of pocket since I had a cavity cause an abscess in my neck. I couldn't swallow for 2 months. It got bad because I had no pain - so I dealt with it. I had no clue it was my tooth, the doctor suggested I had a virus and I would recover. I realized I had been eating yogurt (barely able) for over a month and had a constant feeling of being ill and routinely almost "falling out". One day I finally found a visible lump on my neck, and I knew I should go have an xray by the dentist. I had a root canal, antibiotics course, etc 3 months ago. I feel great again, but it has been 2 months of feeling good and I still suffer from tinnitus and small dizzy spells that began when I was at my worst with the infection. You explained it so well - it is not like the room spins, it just feels really uncomfortable and my head does not feel right. It has gotten slightly better, but still concerning. Doctors, ENT specialists, etc. all say that I am fine and offered very little insight. I have been reviewing your videos before throwing money in the trash - and I must say, I have learned a lot already. Thank you! I hope to find relief soon.

Been battling vertigo for 14 years. This is the same exercise my ENT taught me. I do them 3x before bed and sleep at an incline. By the 3rd day I feel better, but not 100% the lightheadedness still lingers. I'm definitely going to try the 3rd eye pressure point as I am so over medications that make me sleepy.

Thank you so much. Woke up this morning with vertigo, ‘hot’ ears - ringing! Have had this twice in the past; prescribed anti-vert, and Prednisone 3x/day for three months. Developed Moon face and serious weight gain from ridiculous hunger! Horrible! Will use these techniques prayerfully obtain relief. While researching answers for vertigo, discovered dehydration can lead to dizziness and vertigo. Immediately drank 24 ounces with some relief. Must stay hydrated with exercising.

I was recently diagnosed with vertigo after a misdiagnosis of dehydration. It started last year as plain dizziness, then spinning, then nausea and vomiting then it exacerbated to every other day to one day I had to go to ER for constant vomiting and diarrhea and severe spinning. The ER doc said I had fluid in my left ear. I was given the medication for dizziness and nausea. With meds, sleep and rest, I was fine for a month. Then it started again. I had a violent episode of simultaneous vomiting and diarrhea while my head was spinning. Literally spent 3 hours in the bathroom. I saw your exercises and applied them. It's been helping. I haven't been vomiting but still experiencing dizziness on a daily basis now.

Vertigo is another thing after vertigo prolonged with dizzyness in each head movements it's so scarry ....I was cleaning the house 🏡 yesterday picking up things down and up later had vertigo after few hours.... This is 2nd time ... Now I don't know how long it's going to be there and go off. I took Prochlorperazine last night .. I hate taking it as it gives more to sleepy and can't do anything else .......... I don't know weather I took too much icy drinks or chocolates 🍫 .... GERD another side . Incredible information doctor Mandell! I have suffered vertigo with both sides of my ears the left and also the right, plus on top of that I actually at the same time had either or both dust mites inside both ears that were at the same time causing my off balance sensation of vertigo, not the spinning sensation, although I also did have that too with both ears, well, first, I looked it up online on youtube, and found how to treat vertigo by doing it yourself at home very easy with the Epley maneuver positioning, and when I first did it, oh my lord! I was spinning hardcore, but then as you also suggested, we have to stay like that unfortunately and it does eventually come to a stop, for some people like me, it took more than 30 seconds and even just a bit longer than a minute. Then I also heard what you also said, that after doing the procedure, it best recommended to sleep upwards like if you were on an airplane for at least from 24 to 48 hours, but I just couldn't do it that way , so I just went to bed and laid and slept directly on my back with my head as high as upright as possible, And so, I waited about one week before doing the other ear, first one side left for example, waited one week, then did the right, and the same thing happened, got hardcore vertigo for over just a bit of one minute, and at first my eyes just like you said start to bounce from one side to the other nonstop, but , then as you also said, stay in that position until it stops, and it will eventually stop. So I continued to do this Epley maneuver for a few months, and believe me, it finally worked! Each time I repeated the procedure, the vertigo was much less and less, and then it came to a complete stop where I had nothing at ll of vertigo, when doing the epley, and it is a miracle. It works, you just have to hang on a fast tight roller coaster ride in the beginning, but it will stop, once you keep practicing this technique in your own home. At first I used the pillow to lay on right up to the shoulders, then, I also read that you can also do it without the pillow and instead just bring your head to the end of your bed tight on the edge, so your head is fully and completely all the way back, and that worked even better for me. Now as far as the dust mites and scabies that were also causing my vertigo, but it wasn't the spinning sensation, this vertigo feels like your off balance, when your up and about moving around or walking down the street, and you just feel like as if your on a boat on the ocean sea type of feeling, so As soon as my doctor started to treat me with medication for dust mites, plus I also saw your videos on home remedies for that, the off balance vertigo also came to a stop, too. And now I can get, up, walk, move and feel normal again thank God. The strange thing though I experienced, was that, also by looking online at peoples testimonies, they where still complaining that they still experienced vertigo even after doing the epley maneuver. Well let me say something real quick. Also for me it continued for a very short amount of time, and what I did, was just simply stuck with it when I went to sleep, and just got so tired of sleeping upright on my back, I just said to heck with vertigo, since i barely felt it anymore, when I turned to sleep on either both left or right, I barley felt just a small very small amount of spinning for just under a few seconds, then bam, it goes away, and I finally can sleep now on both left and right side with no spinning. It just simply went away. So anyhow, this is my personal testimony and experience I had and tried at home by myself, and thank you so much for your help, you're my favorite youtube doctor, my mom loves you, i respect you, and you are genuinely very honest and a very true man of God, God bless you doctor, and please keep up the excellent work you do to help the entire world, amen.

The part about keeping head up for 48 hours is what hung me. I have apnea, and insomnia, tmj and terrible stiff neck. But I do get some sleep & am usually pretty exhausted. I'd have to sit up in my chair all night? Really wouldn't be able to sleep. Don't have vertigo, but general dizziness. Hoping it's from ear, neck n TMJ. Are there other ways to combat dizziness that are effective? .

I have heard of this technique. 4 weeks ago I tripped over a cord plugged into a wall and fell to my knees and slammed my head on the center of the forehead. My eyes have been so sensitive to light and slept for a week and a half. I stills have vertigo and a spacey buzz in my head. I just tried the technique but got so dizzy on my right side I had to stop. I will try again tomorrow. I know this could change things for me. I talked to a doctor online after a week and she said to just rest and take Tylenol. I just went back to work in summer school but the vertigo remains. Should I wait a bit more or just try the technique in the next few days? Thank you for your great videos. You are my go to doctor these days.

I have exactly the same... Stiff shoulder/neck and vertigo - although the vertigo seems to be gone now but I have constant dizziness/lightheadedness and sometimes brain fog. I am going to PT and chiro, it helps but I still have the main symptoms.

Dr. Mandell, do you know a way of getting rid of Ménière’s disease? I’m been battling this illness for 8 years. I want to try something that can stop this from getting worse. Praying for the best. Please help.

I have Menieres since 2009..no cure I'm afraid 😨..just recently I've been looking on here for tips and the Epley works but you need to keep at it, when I say it works it stabilise you from going into to a spin and on floor Vomiting..I also tryed the 3rd eye techic and it actually works so does the wrist one it's good for sickness feeling with the Menieres..I've lost 70% hearing in my left ear and the ringing is just surreal..medication done nothing for me even stemtil injections done nothing for me I was hospitalised on few occasions when I got severe attacks of Menieres..its an absolutely terrifying illness it really is.. But the few techniques on here work just keep at them..drink plenty of fluids I found when I get attacks bad I sweated and my heart palpitations were unreal during attacks so water helps keep that at bay.

@@theresahayes4294 Yeah, I’m aware of that. I’m sorry to hear that about your condition not getting any better. I know that feeling about the heart pulse raising and it does make me feel dizzy for a few minutes and then it wears off. For me at least, what helps me with the vertigo is some chamomile tea, strangely enough Lemon water with sea salt (electrolytes) and some back massage to avoid getting too tense or stress. I hope you’ll find your relief somehow … take care.

@@hohepunktz6778 Oh yes there has been improvement with me yes it burnt itself out after a long period of time the severe attacks lasted longer than I care to remember, it was debilitating for a long long time, I'm having small flair up at minute and that's what brought me here to find techniques to help. Strangely enough my so called Specialist at time of my severity with Menieres gave me no techniques or tips what so ever. Tips on here from Dr Mandell are very good and do work and easy to follow. Thanks.

Doc.....I subscribed to your videos last night. I'm experiencing dizziness and was wondering if fluid in the ears could be a cause. My left ear, in particular, is frequently stopped up and will sometimes cause a rumbling or roaring effect in that ear. Any advice for this would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Dr Mandela, I have vertigo also in my ears, don’t know which one but my dr told me about this maneuver the other day but wasn’t sure how to do it right. I’m going to try it. I get so dizzy and lose my balance just anytime of the day or night. It’s scary. Where are you from? I would like to see a video of the crystals moving and also, where do they come from? Thank you for such good information!
