I absolutely love this guy. I am a 32yo disabled veteran who started playing when i was 8. I know scales, shapes and patterns, a decent amount of music theory, and still could not improve beyond the level I have been at since high school until I started watching your videos. Truely my favorite teacher period. I can watch 10x's as many of your videos as I can Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson videos and I am a huge fan of their music. You are my hero man, and helping me develop more than I even thought possible and constantly giving me answers to questions that 1000's of other people on youtube try to answer and fail to. I just wish you lived close enough for one on one lessons!

I got the bad habit of moving my shoulder as if bobbing my head. Luckily it is slightly, and helps to not sound monotonous. Otherwise I would look spastic or having a seizure

Sorry.. this time I don’t agree. My violin teacher was very clear about that... the rhythm can be internalized... proof of that is that classical players don’t tap when playing really much more complicated rhythm pieces than the ones you could find in pop music. Saying that you can’t we a great musician because you don’t tap your foot is like telling you can’t be a great reader without moving your lips while reading.
