Twenty years later, they're fighting genetically-engineered super soldiers and flying rocket cars into space. James Bond went from British spy, man on a mission to campy spaceship piloting wisecracker and then world-saving superhero. They reeled that one in. Transformers went from schoolkid who makes friends with alien robots to American government, American Military, Moon landing was alien robots, Pyramids was alien robots, Dinosaur extinction meteorite was alien robots. The reeled that one in with Bumblebee, kinda. F&F Went from street racing and heists, to just family drama and Russian submarines and space race. 22 years and they still haven't learned its over.

The Fast and the Furious franchise is a case study on why the only thing more important than knowing how/where to begin a series is knowing when to end it. It should've ended with Furious 7. That was a decent movie, and it had the sendoff of Paul Walker's character ( RIP) , with a pretty nice song to cap it off.

Wow. Out of all the mountains of stupid you drew to my attention, the most depressing was Brie Larson’s character. Porting in a character type we were all absolutely sick of is the final nail in the coffin of this series. (Despite no coffins ever being needed for any of the characters)

Brie's character stuck out like a sore thumb in every scene lol The new Jack Reacher character was slightly cringe too as well as his 'ah-ha! he's really not on your side!' moment (which we already seen before with Gina Carano in Fast 6) But yeah, every time Brie was on screen it just pulled me out of the moment due to how ridiculously stupid it was. Her first scene she walks into "The Agency" trading quippy snarky lines with Jack Reacher guy, wearing decked out evening wear totally fitting for her job along with a shit ton of earring bling lol Then she shows up in some bar asking out loud for someone (Dom) who is RIGHT FUCKING THERE WITHIN EYESHOT sitting down at a table literally 5 feet from her, but she gets into a pointless bar fight with randoms and the bartender just throws her a shotgun (wtf??) and they all just sit back down like scolded children lol Then the last arc she shows up on the overpass where they were having that gun battle, out of nowhere, wearing again a ridiculous bright blue fashionista business suit with an assault rifle and NO tactical gear and of course gets shot and is like wow Im shot (mind you, Jack Reacher guy got shot too but he had the common sense to wear a vest, and btw, why the fuck would Jason Momoa (Dante) have Jack Reacher guy get shot if the dude's been working for him for 10 years? Thats why the more you sit back and try to think about the logic or lack thereof of these movies, the more you'll just lose your mind lol

They've all been stupid since those unrealistic fight scenes in Fast 6. Fast 5 was a Oceans 11 rip off and its gotten so stupid to the point of when the world is in danger, insteadof calling soldiers, they call a bunch of street racers. I also found it laughable that Dom's sister becomes an expert fighter and beats a bunch of soldiers in a fight.

Solid review man, and I appreciate leaving "major spoilers", if this series can even have them at this point, out. I went and looked up the actor playing Little Brian. His name is Leo Abelo Perry, and this is his fifth credit. His most notable one before this was "Cheaper By The Dozen"(2022). It's probably not hard to shine in these new Fast and Furious films, but it's cool to hear this kid held his own and wasn't just a forgettable child in peril. I think Fast Five was the pinnacle of the series. Still entertaining, but just not as good. Now they're just going complete ham, and the movies are still making money so they'll just keep going. As long as Vin Diesel wants to keep going, they'll make these movies.

They keep retreading the same plots. Character dies, character gets resurrected (Letty, Han, Giselle). Bad guy gets taken down, bad guy's relative comes looking for revenge (Shaw, Dante) also regarding this series. lets not forget its done by Universal and they tried to have a long running franchise to compete against MCU and DCEU called the Dark Universe and that failed after the first movie so they're willing to let this one ride as long as they can

It is basically Transformers at this point. First movie was kinda neat. All downhill from there. There are no stakes whatsoever. Also, people make the excuse that these movies are supposed to be 80s action movies and so we should judge it as such. WHAT?! 80s action movies had a lot of bad in them, but at least the actors give something to their characters. Arnold and Stallone don't have good line delivery, but they bring SOME personality to their characters. Fast Franchise? Who the hell am I supposed to root for? Swap out Vin Diesel for The Rock, nothing changes!

The action honestly becomes tedious pretty quickly. I got restless during the scene where the giant bomb ball is rolling down the city streets because it felt like it was never going to end. It just kept smashing everything in its' path and Dom/Letty just kept magically surviving all of it and the scene just kept going and going... and going.

It's been goofy for me for a long time, but I just went with it. Part 6 is the best one, and it's completely ridiculous. Remember when Vin Diesel crashes his car into a guard rail to launch himself into the air to catch Michelle Rodriguez, who is also mid-flight, then they both crash onto the hood of a car, and then later Michelle Rodriguez asks him "How did you know that CAR(!!!???) would be there to break our fall?" ...Yeah, it's been goofy for a while. That one also featured the airport runway to infinity.

Last great one was Fast 5. 6 and 7 were ok. 8 was also ok. 9 was ridiculous. (It still amuses me how Mia NEVER acknowledges Jacob as her brother) 10 I'm in no rush to see. I'm sure it will be on HBOMAX in a few weeks just like 9 was. I'd say 2, 3, and 5 are my favorites of the series.

Yes, Fast X is an incredible stupid movie... and thats exactly what it should be! All I want is bonkers action, huge explosions and cars doing things that cars can not do! And even more important, no woke agenda! Men being men doing manly things.

I stopped after 5, but these movies are made for overseas audiences now, just spectacle, but he no skin off my nose I will watch it, or not, when it comes to streaming for free. These are basically parody movies now, sort of like an MST3K experience. Family!

As a newcomer to the series I was decently entertained by the movie but the more I thought about it the more I dislike it. Like there are some instants where unless the villain is just straight psychic there's no way he could have set all this up. Spoiler alert but it left me scratching my head wondering how he would be able to set up anything in the first place when early on in the movie they establish that he lost his family fortune so where the money came from to set up this big revenge plot that took 10 years is beyond me. If I had to compare it to something it kinda feels like a live action grand theft auto. Also the ending left a sour taste in my mouth ending on a cliffhanger. There are instances where that can work like in avengers infinity war but here it just felt forced. Thanos was built up over the course of over 10 years but this being the first time we've ever seen this guy it just felt forced and sequel baitish

I'm happy to say I've never seen a single one of these movies. Not even an opening credit. In fact I've barely seen a single second of the vast majority of what Thorias reviews, from any of the Batwoman series to this. Non of it. The reviews are so entertaining I feel they would lose their lustre if I actually watched most of this crap.
