Buddy had one when we were in highschool back in 98 he'd go to work at taco bell and I'd take it out and race it by the airport till his mom spotted me riding down main in it and came unglued and had it towed and locked it up in the barn on him till we graduated it was one sweet ride to though light metallic blue with white stripes and black roof and interior it was just a warmed over goodwrench 350 with a 3800 stall but it eat up 5.0 mustangs and third gens all night

yes exactly ! without it and running direct it will chew up the speed sensor! with it in a car it will disable and won't even let you start it! it triggers the immobilizer kind of like your key isnt synced. ran into this issue and took forever to just find out it was missing the spacer !!!! was ready to junk the car!!

I'm not with all this flat black stuff going on these days. I think that a bunch of kids that didn't have enough money to buy nice polished wheels, went with the flat black and and sold all their friends that it was the cool way to go. I know when I was a kid, flat black was to hide the ripples and dents in a car. I still love chrome and polished aluminium, you cant sell me that flat black is better than that.

A mechanically assisted airduct would be nice on the Beta version. Use a window regulator or doorlock solenoid. You could set it to a switch the driver toggles if you want to keep it simple.

If you don't have a oven you can use a microwave just put it in a bowl of water and boil to your hearts content

@@austindoud273 when dealing with bearings i prefer oil. But the principle is the same. If you need to drop a bearing in a casing or an end cover you can heat the cover AND cool/freeze the bearing. The bearing will drop right in. When all of the assembly is back at room temp it be a tight fit.

13:35 Tip from a honda tech here...Start the case bolts in the threads, flip the transmission over and jounce it once or twice and the fork shafts/bearings will fall right into their places and the snap rings seat themselves, no mallet needed.

For roof scoops look at the Group B Intergrale and Ford RS200's. They had intercooler setup similar to Kater's but the roof scoop was actually much further back from the windscreen. What I would try is to bring the top of the scoop further forward so it will catch the air that is pushed up the windscreen. Like the peak of a baseball cap.

Yes, you have to swap output shafts when you swap diffs. Not just for tooth count and diameter, but also gear angle cut. The helical cut angle is changed between the ratios.

im pretty sure the entertainer is the one of the main official blue bunny ice cream truck songs *its iconic* i've heard it in every state i've visited "very creepy lol" but it get kids running for ice cream, they also later use older folk songs and mroe modern lullabies, ring around the roses, and pop goes the weasel as them too as where iconic children's songs of the time. they date back to 1913 and offically had their name "blu" short for blue bunny in 1935.

Watch out for those TSX trans cases. They are made of magnesium and the bearing under the retainer below the mainshaft will wallow out the side walls and get loose. If you can move it by hand, you'll have to replace the case. When it gets really bad, it can cause shifting problems obviously. Also, im pretty sure you can transfer over the sixth gear stuff if you wanted to.

To help with intercooler airflow, should look into vortex generators to help direct / keep airflow from separating / breaking up following the curves into the intercooler.

Put a spoiler behind an intercooler. Low pressure area under the spoiler will force air trough the intercooler from the hight pressure are above the car. Or extend your roof scoop slightly past the windshield where high pressure area is

For the roof I’d do two things. Find a hard top roof panel. Panel bond that in and then start the scoop for the innercooler with a low profile roof rack for support.

Definitely different songs. I dont even know what the truck that drives past my house plays but it's got a dog barking and slide whistle sound effects in it every so often. The little trap door reminds me of a mini-golf hole I made. Our church would let the youth group turn the building into a mini golf. My small group got one of the stairwells and instead of making people go up, play down then go back up we rigged up a shop vac near one end of the tube, put chicken wire over the vacuum hose so a ball can't go in and a flap of cardboard over the end of the tube. You'd hit the ball in a hole down the stairs and it'd go up the stars and around the corner of the landing then shoot out the top. Won the people's choice and best engineered hole out of 46!
