I just watched one of your videos about how you can study online in nursing and do clinicals in person . I dropped out of nursing program because I couldn't afford to lose my job and I did my associate degree and currently am doing my bachelor degree in healthcare management. I almost lost hope of becoming a nurse but after watching the video my hope of becoming a nurse has come alive again.

I am interested in pursuing opportunities in the nursing field; however, I am having difficulty locating an accredited online degree program in nursing. Could you please provide any referrals or recommendations? Thank you for your assistance.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention being able to teach with any bachelors. For instance, say you’d like to get into tech, but are unsure of the job security due to an over saturated market. Well you could always then apply for an alternative certification for teaching. (States vary). 😊 now the question is.. if you were wanting to teach, do you take the non licensure route, get your degree, then apply for the 8-12week alternative certification program so you can get paid for your student teaching? 🧐 which would you say is the most secure degree to land a job straight out of college with just your bachelors? Minus nursing.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, in some states you can use any degree to become a teacher. I still strongly suggest to those that want a teaching career to get a teaching degree just because states can change laws at any time.

And there are more majors can get high salary like computer science, software engineering, but teaching has low salary and accounting too

So is this Free funding for community colleges too?... or just Universities... and why would I want to take the opened window to Fafsa if FREE is coming soon?... isn't FREE better?... I'm so confused.
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway6716 күн бұрын
If you're referring to Trump's proposal for the free University.. that would just be that 1 school. And it will likely take a very long time to happen. Right now, FAFSA and scholarships are the best way to fund school. Pretty much anyone in the US can attend school without paying out of pocket if they put in the work to get funding. As for community college. I'm not a big fan because there are solid options for "Hacking" full Bachelor's Degrees and skipping community college.

How do you feel about the University of Wisconsin. UW FLEX. Is there a lot of writing?
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671Ай бұрын
It is writing and project based. And from what I've heard the curriculum is more challenging than some of these other programs. Also, it's a very small program so you aren't going to find many resources around the internet for your classes (like online forums, note sharing, flashcard resources, etc.) You also have to have an Associate's Degree to be accepted. BUT... it's a great school! So it can absolutely be worth it.

@@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671 Thank you for your feedback. I have an associate's degree. I applied for UW FLEX BS in business administration. Which is a part of the Parkside campus. I was also looking into Purdue Global. Have you seen anyone finish a degree from these schools within 4 months?

You clep the courses
@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway67111 күн бұрын
CLEP is one option for earning credits faster, however you can't do that for your full degree. Most schools cap how many outside credits you can earn. I actually prefer testing out of your classes from within the school you're attending. Not all schools allow it, but some do.

Stay away from Liberal Arts degrees, like art, music, literature, foreign languages, etc.
