What most people dont understand is how fast a stock E55 is, specially if all you driven your life are sub 200hp cars. Also these youtbers telling you that 5speed is slow. Dude its spot on. I remember my first time in an E55, as soon as you kick down the pull is insane, the shift from 2nd to 3rd DUDE THAT STICKS YOU TO THE SEATS

I just bought a 2004 clk55 for 5.5 only thing it needs is a mass flow and tires but still drives and absolutely rips. Supper optimistic about the purchase due to how cheap the parts are and how friendly the engine bay is. Love your build and look forward to building my pup up. Thank you!

Alex, over at Legit Street Cars channel just modded his tranny & the shifts were much better. I want to say the kit he used was in the ballpark of $1600. He says in the video it speeds up the shifts quite a bit but not to the level of a dual clutch. Still, every bit of extra speed is good!

Got one of these amongst other cars, slightly rarer Almandine Black but all good. The car is a big bitch heavy duty not gonna break down. Brakes are pretty shit but £2500 in the UK with a few problems. Not going to cry about it

@@lewokejames No internals are aftermarket. The stock M113K engine has an aluminium block and heads, forged crankshaft and conrods, cast SOHC camshafts, no VVT and is capable of handling 18psi boost. Good enough for CLK DTM and McLaren SLR. So yeah, anyone with a 55K can buy a similar setup and expect equal numbers. Mine produces nearly 700hp with stock supercharger. Always best to do your research first before jumping to conclusions.

Its not Airsuspension. ABC is hydraulic. Always flush the CHF11S Pentosin and change the 3 micron filter from ABC reservoir. Also Flush and change Filter from steering nmreservoir next to it. It has to be always crystal green!
