That's the Dempsey Center at the University of Washington and it is a great track and a great place to run.

Without knowing the results yet I'll take Jessica Hull. This is Washington's indoor track and any record run here doesn't hold up under NCAA rules. It's not 200 meters or banked.

their strides are way too short. theyve got a cadence of somewhere around 200 spm, when they could be doing this with around 180

@@jakerussell135 180 spm being ideal for middle distance races is in large part a myth. Especially for females who are going to have an average height range of 5’4 to 5’8 for the most part. It would take some really big inefficient strides to maintain that pace at that cadence. I’d imagine that top D1 milers probably have more of an understanding of their own mechanics than the armchair sports physicians of KZbin.

Well it is called the Women's Mile and the announcer said so at the start. And it is OK to call women girls, because women are always girls , but you wouldn't call men boys. Just be happy all the women running here were girls.

@@gwynnlyell2539 Why did you delete your response, did you find out that Jenner never cut it off? None of the men running in women's track go though "gender" change surgery because then they would lose all the advantages of being a man in women's track gives them. And I don't think my response was "crappy." I know plenty of strong women who don't mind being called girls, in fact most of them like it. In my experience only women who take themselves way too seriously don't like it.
