I run the H-D 2020 oil pump which is an upgrade from the OEM that was in the pre-2020 models. I also have a customized oil pan that Harley Hookup did to keep it flowing in long wheelies.

Yes you do. I've melted crank bearings before and they will certainly go dry without a pan mod.
