the part of pro-inflammation foods is really important and often ignored or not even know by most iifym advocates. I started feeling constant lower back ache and could not understand why...I then discovered that I had unknowingly increased my omega 6 intake which increases inflammation. As soon I cut out the culprit in my diet my pain went away!

Can you do a video on cortisol levels my man? Training - easy, diet - difficult but nailed it after many years my problem lies in rest and R.E.M. I'd love to see you do a video of how cortisol level affect sleep

Great info B pak, love your more Scientific approach to bodybuilding. Could you make a video about how to hold a fuller look, i am a taller guy 6 ft 3 , and i always feel like my muscle flattens out easily, unless i had a big cheat meal the day before. Thanks from Denmark

I agree with the genetically gifted part. That's why I hate the argument of 'well this guy does IIFYM and he looks great.' Like Ben said, they could probably get away with so much more than you or me.

Why so much glutamine? Glutamine clinically has shown to only be anticatabolic in super sick people. What benefit? Gut health? Do you have Celiacs disease?

Ben you mentioned that if you always have carbohydrates all the time you essentially bypass fat burning when you decrease or eliminate carbs . That doesn't seem to make sense wouldn't your body always burn fat before muscle as it wants to conserve as much muscle as possible? Or am I missing something .

Ben you spoke about metabolic flexibility, so assuming you're lean and bulking/eating more carbs. I'd typically have my first and last meal as protein/fats only and get my carb/protein meals in between. So would this be good I.e burning more fat over night and keeping carbs more around just the workout and surrounding meals?

thank you so much, this was so helpful. can you make more videos on inflammation and gluten by the way? Are oats a last resort source of carbs for you by the way? because of the gluten in them? or do you eat gluten free oats? And by inflammation I mean how to avoid inflammation building up, the actual side effects of it, and how to recover from it if your muscles and joints are chronically inflamed like mine! haha thanks, sorry for the long question. Awsome video however sometimes your info is very outdated and old. Also the marginal differences between not having a cheat meal and having one in the sense of building muscle is not even worth to be mentioned!

Could you be more specific? Re: Outdated/Old information? And you may have missed it in the video. From time to time, fine. But if you are going to make it a STAPLE in your nutrition plan, you are asking for problems.

Benjamin Pakulski i think he means anout the caloric intake, for most people, if the caloric surplus is too great, even its from cleaner food will be stored as fat, both for enhance and natural athletes.

What is to low carbs if your cutting Ben? I'm 245 6'2 I have more fat than I want specifically lower back lower abs. My macros now is 315 protein, 200 carbs, 110 to 120 fat is this a good ratio for cutting or is my carb intake to low? Keep in mind my metabolism is not good it was in my 20's but now I'm 33 and it has slowed down a lot .
