I think SNK is finally understanding the transition from 2D to 3D. I'm very optimistic that KOF16 will look even better than CotW

I might be alone here but I actually like the new design more. Facial expressions are inferior though from what Im seeing. I just hope he retain his goofy taunts and poses

The lightning and shadow effect in the original game are amazing. Also his voice was better. Now he looks like a generic character

O 2D ainda permance muito mais lindo. Garou Mark of the wolves só fica atrás de Street fighter third strike. Os dois melhores jogos de luta de todos os tempos.

@@marlluspaiva IMHO, Garou só "perde" para SF3TS em termos de paleta de cores e resolução, e só (por causa do hardware da CPS3, a placa de arcade mais fracassada da face do cosmos, batendo o recorde de menos unidades vendidas, hardware caríssimo que nunca se pagou), pois é superior em tudo, jogabilidade, design de personagens, carisma, e sim animação! A série SF3 tem uma redundância absurda de repetição de mesmos franes, são muitos franes de animação basicamente repetidos, e que fizeram o game envelhecer muito mais do que Garou MOTW, cuja animação tirou leite de pedra da MVS, com franes diferenciados e muito melhor escolhidos e não repetitivos, ficando muito mais naturais.

Ahora se ve más serio cuando pelea. Siento que le quitaron lo chistoso y relajado al personaje. Dong Hwan se volvió menos interesante 😔 Por eso es que no soy fan de esos que piden que cada personaje sea más serio al pelear...

@@000mjd Gracias por la info. Personalmnete lo que me gustaba de Dong era que él no era igual a su padre, como es el caso de Jae. Desde su forma de caminar, su pose de victorias hasta el bailecito gracioso que hace. Esos pequeños detalles hicieron que me gustara el personaje Ahora Dong Hwan es menos especial :(

@@000mjd Esto es tan malo como querer traer de regreso a Makoto Mizoguchi (Fighter's History) pero que ya no sea bruto, no tan inteligente y griton. Las cualidades que hicieron popular al personaje y lo que lo hizo destacar entre los miles de "clones de Ryu" "TAKE A LOOK AT THAT!!! THESPIO!! THESPIO!! THESPIO!!"

Eficiência excelente e pontualidade perfeita como de costume, ótimo trabalho. Sobre o trailer, não gostei muito do rosto dele por causa da falta da expressividade notável dele nas artes de Garou MOTW, além da falta das sobrancelhas que parecem com as sobrancelhas do Ken popularizadas em SFA e SF3. E tudo bem que esse jogo tem seu estilo próprio e de fato não foi feito para imitar fielmente o estilo de arte de Garou MOTW, mas a parte das sobrancelhas não tem desculpa... é um detalhe que teria melhorado o modelo 3d por deixá-lo mais parecido com a versão 2d. Se colocarmos lado a lado as imagens do rosto do Rock do COTW e do MOTW, a semelhança é maior do que entre as imagens do rosto do Dong Hwan do COTW e do MOTW. (Aliás, o modelo 3d do Kevin tem esse problema também)

Hate to say it, because I really hoped this game would be as amazing as it looked on the Rock/Terry reveal, but they didn't do a good job with Kim Dong and with a many other characters. The face, the hair, the outfit... are a total miss, the idle animation on the original was a sight to behold and now it's absolutely unremarkable. The whole thing looks like the result of someone random playing with a character editor for a while.

@@malcovich_games I really don't know to what extent this can be considered plagiarism or copying. I listened to both the original song and the Rock theme and I only heard that one sound effect is identical almost halfway through the score but the rest is somewhat different. There are examples of songs that copy the rhythm, such as the background sound of Ice Ice Baby, which was copied from a Queen song.

my fave character from Garou! Gotta say I'm disappointed though...his design looks so much better in the original. The animation, his hair looks cool in the original, the front should be way longer..he looks like a corny boy band member in the 3d version. I wish when they made 3d version of games, they'd stick to the anime style designs. The realism doesn't work on these characters.

Same there bro. I'm not a great fan of the new artistic direction taken in City of The Wolves, it seems like a downgrade compared to MotW. the worst about it is than animations are less fluid and detailed, special effects are bland, don't blend well with the sprites and even appear as visual nuisance sometimes. Thankfully the roster is better and the gameplay have evolved, but playing MotW still has its advantages.

ótimo personagem desde a concepcão um kim mais relaxado(basicamente um dos meus favoritos) e descontraído e sim embora eu deva concordar q o design original é melhor, esse é o exatamente o espirito do donwang ,,,,,, eu acredito q podiam ter deixado , o DESIGN, pelo menos um pouco mais harmonioso, a cor do casaco atado por exemplo destoa do resto da roupa, os efeitos de LUZ e SOMBRA DOS RAIOS do Garou foram perdidos e isso é BEM Triste,, puxaram o raio (e toda porrradaria) pra um efeito COMIC BOOK(só faltou escrever POW dentro,,,) Em alguns pontos como Close-up de tela essse efeito é lindo, mas os SPARKS são irritantes ,,O raio d o DONGWANG aqui ficou amarelo chapado ( alguém disse fanta?) Pois é comecei a achar que esse processo de não precisa fazer parecer de verdade pq é desenho ,, pq é jogo está sendo prejudicial a criatividade( replicar luz e sombra era uma ideia incrivel e passava sentimento de choque real ao impacto mas né

He lost some of his lackadaisical attitude and got hot? Shame the lighting from his lightning is gone but I suppose that is difficult to translate. I dunno. Rough transition in my opinion

Compared to the previous work, Dong-hwan's face feels like it has lost its confidence and composure. In the previous work, he showed confidence and a smile throughout, but in this work, he just looks like a third-rate gangster. I think the modeling is wrong.

I watched the video again and I'm once again convinced that my opinion was not wrong. He is no longer the Dong-Hwan I knew. He looks more like a poor Hwarang from Tekken.
