I have a friend who lives there and it's really nice. Everything's clean and well kept and the traffic is minimal. It's such a contrast to be in insane intense traffic going there from downtown Sài Gòn and then land up in a quiet zone where it's chill and peaceful.

I am completely blown away super impressed I live in Fresno California it's in the Central Valley and I was paying $1,000 a month for a 980 square foot 2 bedroom apartment 1 bath and it was built in the 70s and it had nothing like what you've got seriously I just subscribed to your Channel I was thinking of moving to Colombia but I've always liked the Asian culture and countries so I am going to start looking into Vietnam thank you so much for sharing! Three months ago, I almost rented a studio in Yard apartments on 16th floor for $1200/mo, then I found out I have to pay $300/mo for a reserved parking. Now I still live in in SE Portland and is paying $1100/mo for a very average looking apartment that is not far from Multnomah county library and Mr. Peeps, lol. I really like that it is soundproof, so much is included along with swimming pool. But also like that's it's near Japantown for sushi. Just love that stuff. This place is in my address book now as an alternative to retiring in the US, which will cost much more. I just need to be able to get US sports on TV - do they have that?

My husband and I are thinking about moving to Saigon next year, he's Vietnamese but never lived in Saigon before so it's going to be a new experience for both! We were thinking about renting there at Vinhomes Golden River or City Gardens in BinhThanh, but I've heard that district gets flooded pretty easily. How are really the floods over there? Is it really that bad in rainy season? We would like to avoid getting stuck with water at our knees trying to get home every other day LOL

The floods are over at Vinhomes Central Park, which is Landmark 81, not at Vinhomes Golden River. Although they are relatively close together and both took place on "Nguyen Huu Canh Street", the Vinhomes Central Park part of the street goes crazy during rainy season. Hope this helps.
