For those wondering about the Canadian subtitles, those were never made by us. We did go through and clean them up frequently (removing references to other parodies when we caught them, for example, as well as taking out stolen jokes from other creators) but those were always fan contributed. As fans no longer have the tools on KZbin to freely contribute subtitles in a collaborative manner, I'm afraid they'll no longer be available on future videos.

Command seals are 90% intention (which is why they can go off without meaning to if you're not careful). They compel the servant to do exactly what you intend them to do. Unfortunately this doesn't allow for lawyering or semantics on the servant's part.

It's just harder to do so then simply doing that and the simpler the order the less they can do about it, too broad and you get a Archer situation where he's lightly penalized for disobeying rather then stopped. I mean, technically speaking, it doesn't summon those Eldritch Gods either. The cases you are referring in normal circumstances are about people blessed with some of those Eldritch Gods's powers. The other cases (those that are fully out of the norm) do have some Eldritch Gods summoned within the vessel of other servants (like for Van Gogh) or of humans. However, those cases also include the ones where normal gods and phantasmal beings can be summoned as servants within vessels. Lucifer could technically be summoned in such a way, so that isn't what is meant here.

It's my favorite type of abridging; the condensing of information and repeating it in a parodied format. It doesn't really change what's presented in the original but instead strips away all the flowery language and gets straight to the point, while also often making comedic commentary about either the content or presentation.

Okay the Confession Scene, literally 10/10 for me. Besides it being heartwarming and hilarious. I love the way it played into make this a hard ship sell, but if you actual read into the characters of who the are, you get to see why what traits attracts them to each other. Shirou said it best in list when asked, passionate and hardworking. Confidence and perseverance are attractive qualities. He even said traits to call him out when hes being reckless, and yea he’s needs someone to stop his sacrificial lamb mentality. Im no Fate fanboy by any means, so im out of my depth when talking about this. But in all routes, Shirou ends up with someone different based on the choices he makes. I like to think that in life you could end up with anyone really, but its the choices and experiences we make that ultimately decides our fate. These two could end up with anyone else, in a number of possibilities, and is confirm in the routes we’ve seen, but they end up choosing each other. I don’t know why, I find that kind of sweet. Two stubborn people refuse to listen to anyone, even fate it self. Also, how Shirou goes to town in simping for Rin BOOTY is 10/10 writing, and does justice in saying what I wanted to say to her. Even if Rin isn’t your waifu, You can’t deny that ASS.

I mean, didn't Rider do it to some unnamed student in source UBW, under orders from Shinji? And Sakura, while not a Servant, relied on drinking an admittedly too-tiny amount of blood from Shirou to attempt to replenish her mana in Heaven's Feel.
