What is so redeeming about killing your own friends due to peer pressure. That's so tacky to do
@jbrienКүн бұрын
@@Drprinceshakespear You're right, it's not perfect. But his character was 16 or 17, under the influence of a guy he probably loved and certainly worshipped. Now, he's a relatively old man who has had a long time to regret his mistakes, and he wants to atone. He's done his time in any case, AND from a srorytelling perspective, there's a lot to work with dramatically. He knows the mind of a Ghostface, he has nothing to lose, and wants Sydney's forgiveness before he dies. He could be a powerful ally, although not a fully trusted one.... It's cool.
@DrprinceshakespearКүн бұрын
@@jbrien i really like the fact it is a good reflection on him. and yes its a long time for him to regret his choice. i just think we also have to be self aware it should be done in a good taste, he killed his own friends with no motive, or in your case due to love of billy. it could slightly come across either trivialising his killing spree or, even better commentary, glamourising a killer. which we see a lot of fans nowadays do with killers like luigi mangione or menedeze bros

Amen. People got so deluded because of SCREAM3, that they seem to forget, how 1996 REALLY was looking. And Billy and Stu trusted each other, while especially Stu got time of his life. Billy, too, but he got strong motive, too. For Stu "It was fun", "It's part of a game." , "those are the rules", "Lets face it, Your mother was no Sharon Stone." And when asked, what he tells police, he answers "peer preasure" and people BELIEVES it, when we meet him watching at Sid, so to see her reaction, when he tells her, "how to gut someone.". 😂 Love, how naive many people are, that fictional killer tricked them fully, that he is "team good guy". 😂

I never want anyone to compare Kirby and Stu. Kirby's death was left open ended, that was part of Wes plan and was for the original plan of 5, and that's not the case with Stu. Stu is dead and people say he's a "fan-favorite" which he is...BUT there's other fan favorites like Tatum, Jennifer Jolie, etc. Who all were killed but I also see a lot of people say they should've lived. Like I mean I see it in multiple post and comments. Stu coming back will lead to the death of Scream, it'll be stupid in my eyes, and would make Scream look ridiculous and like every other horror franchise. The time to bring him back has long passed.

Y'all do realize they could have stu come back because Columbine fucked up the script. Stu was planned to come back, they even paid Matthew Lillard to pay him then everything got scrapped. Stu has to come back for any of this to make any ounce of sense. People have survived worse in real life!

I really think redemption will put a soar taste in everyones mouth. He killed his own friends due to peer pressure aka no motive whatsoever. That's nothing to redeem. I think bringing him back will open a lot debates for even Jill and Mickey fans to come back considering they suffered close injury to him.

He was not "fall guy". He and Billy was exchanging *favours.* And CASEY was his revenge and his idea. Billy's was Moreen and Sid. And guy was since start enjoying HELLA OUTTA situation. Saying "it was not in his character", You must have missremember through THIRD BS prism. Or watched without focuse. We meet guy, when he see Sid in the eyes, saying "how to gut someone". Only being blind one not see, that Stu got ride of his life. 😂 He was manic psychotic, but he loved killing. And it is hella visible on character, even if one deny things confirmed by Williamson (that he killed Casey [by hanging and gutting her]) and that he killed Tatum. Which majority fandom deny seeing, even when he magically paraphrases You last words to killer. 😂 Billy was revenge obsessed. For Stu killing was FUN. Thinking, that FUN was not in Macher character...sorry, but that is most ridiculous thing(after Roman mentoring Billy), that I ever heard. 😂✌️

I think Stu coming back is going to happen there are some great point why his character is so beloved love and why we want him back and why he is the killer and why him coming back should make it 1000 times more better it’s because he is very emotional he is very funny very good Out of character and also the flip-flopping for the way he is as a funny person who is free spirit to a guy who is very dangerous at his job by provoking tormenting and torture his victims by making more true pain with his antics the thing about stew is that he’s not all about the thrill of the kill and make things warm and fuzzy he’s just so Unexpected and unpredictable and out of nowhere and you can never expect when he strikes and make his surprise appearance By caught you off guard you never expect what you’re going to see from him or what he could be saying out of his mouth and that’s why we all love Stu and that’s why we want him to come back and he speaks from the heart and he is a innovator he is tough and he is motivational explanation influential individual and that’s why he deserves to come back

@damianhbk1 it's not a theory, it's true. But not Stu, Matthew Lillard. He was a party goer in Scream 2 at the Frat Party because he was dating Neve at the time. He was a ticket taker at the film festival, was the chrome mask Ghostface in 5 and so on. People just use those Easter eggs that have an explanation why he was in those movies as that it's Stu and not just a random fun Easter egg.

If Stu comes back it should be in the form of a flashback. I always thought his sister Leslie Macher would make a good ghostface. Her life is terrible. She hasnt been able to get a good job or signigicant other due to being related to Stu. Before the whole screwup with Melissa Bararra, I thought Leslie Macher could run into Christina Carpenter in a AA meeting and Christina reveals that she knew what Billy and Stu were up to back then and Leslie just loses it because Christina could have prevented all this from happening. Leslie's life would have been much better. She is broken and miserable and going to go after everyone who benefited finacially from Stu's crimes. Just a thought

@Fate Decided In my opinion Billy killed Casey and Steve (Tatum knows that the death occurred at 10 pm and she knows Stu was with her and she never incriminates him, Stu wasn’t in the opening scene) Tatum (he locked the door while Billy did the killing, Billy hid in between those boxes which we continently never got a camera shot/angle until after the killer appeared), attempted to murder Dewey (he had more opportunity but this one is arguable) and obviously attempted to murder Randy as well as Gale twice, on top of trying to kill Sidney while Stu just fought her and expressed his romantic feelings towards her lol 😂 Stu killed Himbry (he had way more opportunity while Billy was either heading to or already at the video store) and Kenny. With this framework Stu could easily be redeemed. Although, Tatum’s death is very complicated so you could have it that Stu actually killed her but to redeem himself he saves Sid’s daughter Tatum. You could even reveal Tatum was involved in the original murders and that she intentionally didn’t incriminate him so he killed Casey not Steve. I say that because in the fountain scene Stu focuses on Casey’s death not Steve’s and tells Billy, “Thanks buddy” which could imply that Billy killed someone for Stu.
@mbuszka52954 сағат бұрын
Williamson: Stu killed Casey. And Steve is 100% Stu, which also fact confirms. Wrong answer killer. Remember kitchen scene. Facts: Two killers were at place of murder, as game revealed in kitchen *"Guess how I am gonna die?!"* shows. Especially THIRD QUESTION. Also, it is GAME BETWEEN KILLERS. Not victim and killer. If You get it wrong. You die. What happend if You get it RIGHT? YOU DIE. 😂 Game between Billy and Stu, who will kill her. Because it is Stu's revenge, he gets priority but she run. Billy stabs her, Stu hangs her. Tatum was covering for him, as girlfriend not believing, guy, that banged her last night(like Billy tried with Sid, but got kicked out) could be bad. As none will want to believe. And Tatum...love fans denial, when Stu paraphrases her last words to killer and killer comes BACK INSIDE. But yeah. Denial is strong tool.
@mbuszka52954 сағат бұрын
Also Billy tells Sheriff "I didn't kill anybody." , if You wanna take killers by their words. None of them as *I* didn't kill anybody. Because they BOTH killed Casey and Stu for answering wrong, killed Steve, when Billy was on a phone.

I love this idea! Imagine the twist at the end Stu saves Sidney and or her daughter and says to her "Surprise, Sidney." Stu, also being the target of Ghostface in the film or a sequel is compelling too, as if he's a failed cult figurehead.
