Weird mixing job. I like "True Affection", it's a good single but not like FJM's other stuff and what would come down the line, definitely his most accessible but not representative of the niche he'd begin to carve out and hone starting with this record and subsequent ones. Please keep putting back up your musical guest archive, some great performances missing and NBC blocks them automatically from others uploading!

His falsetto is usually much better. As a singer myself, I can tell you that my falsetto has a few occasional "off" days. Allergies, medication, this, that. It's the most fickle part of a vocalist's toolbox, imo. And it's not a matter of skill, because on days when my vocal tract isn't all mucusy I can command it perfectly. It's more a matter of physiological "bad weather."

I like this song, but it's the weakest song on a 9/10 album and it sounds nothing like the other songs. With that said, I really like this version (better than the album). I'm just confused why he would choose this song to represent his album to an audience of new listeners. Still, glad to have this performance!
