A couple of things he did for his son: -Sold his car to buy a bunch science equipments for him after he saw his interest in science -After seeing his son's effort in trying to help him, he worked his butt off to be able to swim with clothes for the astronaut exam -Left a whole village of descendants to help his son once he unpetrified -Left the last piece of music in the world for his son and the villagers -Collected a bunch of gold, platinum and other rare materials that are scarce in the world over many decades to help his son restore the world once he unpetrifies

BYAKUYA has always been a GRAND NAME. An AWESOME Name for AWESOME Characters, but what this Author created with Senku's Father is something that simply no one else will be able to achieve. SIMPLY THE BEST ANIME FATHER! From Season 1 until now, he keeps coming back in Flashbacks to show us how FUCKIN' AWESOME he was and make us cry again and again TvT *ISHIGAMI BYAKUYA IS THE SECOND ADAM HIMSELF, THE FATHER OF THE NEW HUMANITY!*

Also, I also did not expect to cry during this episode, but I did, and I'm happy about it! I love how mixed the show is, with nerdu as hell, which I love, and feelings, which I ALAO love. 10:12 "the last one on Earth" that actually tells you, that Byakuya was the last one to survive Yakov and Darya died at sea, trying to get a cure for pneumonia from the mainland (as we have already seen) Connie was the one who contracted Pneumonia (which is why the other two tried to get an antibiotic) and died from it and Shamil got infected and died as well. That only left Lillian and Byakuya. I think Lillian got Pneumonia at some point as well, but I'm not sure, but the fact that Byakuya states that he is the last one, makes that very likely Now that I think about it, I'm 100% sure that Senku is going to be the first astronaut of this new world, while his dad was the last, because that is firstly just so poetic and secondly, come one, who else but Senku would be the first? :D

Man, if I had had such a supportive dad as Byakuya, I would have easily already been a scientist by now 😅😂 But as an undiagnosed autistic girl, whose dad left her mum FIVE MONTHS after the wedding (for his "dream woman", they're not really together anymore by now. And she was his third wife. Pretty much says all) when she was just three years old... well, that delayed it for a few years 😅🤣🤣
