I mean…ya it’s a cool car and it’s cool the kid learned all that. But, pretty sure if his dad and him had that kind of money to throw at the car (he straight up said his dad paid for most of it) and afford the time to work on it and drive it enough to get a major sponsor by 21, he was going places regardless.

Is sooo nice to see a young person who wasn't just giving the keys to a brand new or already built car. It gives them a sense of humility and makes them really appreciate what he has. I respect that way more than someone who is just handed something or even a guy who spends his own money but still has the work done for him. I understand that not everyone is mechanically inclined and that's cool but a true car guy is really a gearhead who learns to and does all the work themselves. If that makes sense. I'm not trying to knock the guys out there that are driving beautiful brand new muscle or exotic cars but you truly can't have the same sense of pride and respect, just saying.

Please, once again, thank your Pops for his lifetime dedication as a first responder LA Firefighter 🇺🇸👍🇺🇸 Rock on Nic and be safe 🏁😉🏁

Hell yeah brother 🤘🏻 bought my '68 Chevelle myself right before turning 19 and have been slowly building it myself since then (my dad isn't a car guy and my grandpa that was passed when I was a kid, and unfortunately didn't have a Chevelle to leave to me - but I did just get his clean '82 C10 😀) keep it up! 🤙🏼

What a great story behind this Chevelle! It is so awesome that Nick is so into this type of car at his age. You don't see that as much these days. I will add that I have met Nick and his dad and they are super nice people. Great to see them get an ATLA episode.

Side note to all the old geezers here. Most of us young guys can’t AFFORD these. I was given a 67’ mustang by my great uncle. Some kids dream of these but we can only afford Hondas. It’s not taste it’s a matter of availability and luck.
