Love it!! It’s a common theory that this music video was supposed to go with “Nazareth”. It fits with that songs lyrics a little better and it’s another possibility their management at the time thought this would be a more “pg” piece and would gain more traction. So they just swapped the video over.

Jaws is the best of the singles to me. You can definitely feel and hear how ST got to where they are now from this.

Vessel's lyrics are definitely powerful and melancholic. I've never heard another band come up with the lyrics that are dark, beautiful and stunning like he does. They are cryptic for sure, but also relatable to any kind of feelings someone has for another in a toxic relationship. One of the girls in this video is also in The Way That You Were. But y'all are doing well with the analysis. I'm enjoying watching y'all collaborate about the meaning of the lyrics 😂. You can tell from the EPs to this single that they are growing as artists and developing their sound to what it is today. I love both these singles but the next one, The Way That You Were is my personal favorite single. That video is so good, Vessel is so animated in it. And the song is beautiful. Can't wait to watch y'all react to that one. Oh and the first song on Sundowning is The Night Does Not Belong To God 😂. This tour they just did in the US, they played a few songs from each album IN ORDER like how it was supposed to be listened to. Great reaction as always!! Til next time guys. ✌️ Worship ❤

I went through a relationship eerily similar to vessel here. I, like him, knew I was gonna get hurt, but I didn’t care. It ended so nasty. I wish I could erase that part of my life. Luckily, hearing sleep token has helped me move on. The analogy of prey left unattended made me realize that I was her prey lol. Pretty crazy stuff. Every sleep token song is a warning to avoid chasing the high of a relationship. And you Tio made me realize my idea of a relationship was totally wrong. I appreciate this video very much.

I think the 'pretty white jaws' means show me your aggression like a shark aka Jaws. The rest of the chorus reinforces that idea with "Show me where the delicate stops"

“Eyes of a predator” and wanting to see the pretty white jaws implies that he is the prey in this case. He knew damn well that he was going to get hurt, but he wanted it in the moment. It’s hard to explain but you’ll know what I mean if you’ve been through similar

lol that was me and maybe others too. Now play Nazareth with this video muted. Imo he wanted her to communicate but she never wants to talk about anything. As the story unfolds it will all make more sense. Y’all are doing a great job with these songs. This popped up on my feed and I thought you might want to watch it Sleep Token Luke is the channel Sleep Token Nazareth the lost video It was nice to see the right song with the right video

Such a beautiful song, one of my favorites. But it's also a drumming masterclass. The complexity of what II put together can't be overstated.

Such a great song! I just love the composition of this one. Also, there are lyrical callbacks to Jaws in future songs, for example in "Vore" he says "Jaws of fate" in "Take me back to Eden" he says "and I dont know what's got it's teeth in me but I'm about to bite back in anger" and also "Come now bite through these wires"..even the US tour was called "Teeth of God" It seems Vessel has an obsession with the mouth!! 🤣 Looking forward to the next one guys! I've heard Nazareth was supposed to go with the Jaws video instead, I don't know how true that is, but it fits a lot better with the lyrics. Watching the Jaws video while listening to Nazareth could be a good video to do!

I feel like this one is about trying to tease the darkness out of a partner, to leave behind the polite facade. Vessel seeks passion and emotion, in himself and others, even when it comes back to bite him.

I see you guys done quite a few Sleep Token somgs & it seems like you both have somewhat of an interest. Have you heard "GRANITE" ? You should do that 1 next, i think you'll dig it. They got hella bangers, you got a year's worth of content at least. Oh, give the band SYSTEM OF A DOWN a listen too, each 1 of their tracks gotz meaning as well. Music video is definitely for Nazareth. Lyrically I feel he’s calling her out. She is a the predator her pray is a man. Her weapon of choice is that pretty smile, but he can see past it. Underneath that smile is a very recognizable and Deep trauma. Vessel is emphatic and is beckoning her to take a leap of faith in love. My take on it anyways. Great reaction!
