When Mother Teresa was asked how she prayed, she answered, "I listen". The interviewer then asked, "well what does God say" ? She answered, "He listens".

Thank you. Humility is forgetting of self (and let God take over). I am still far from this. Thank you God for the humility of knowing this.

You are only as far as one thought away from Presence. Imagine yourself as a crystal orament hanging in a window 🪟 and you reflect the one light coming in out into multiple colors of fractal patterns in the room. The light goes through the prism and looks different, but that light of awareness is the same and only light, so we move towards the unconditioned light. I find breath to be the guide to the silence, 🤫 deep but relaxed continual breathes with ever deepening and subtle breathe you consciously slow the body down and the expansion can feel like a light shining through you and rest in your own being.

There is a Dutch saying: dwijlen met de kraan open, which can be seen as solving symptoms instead of root causes. Interior silence which flows from understanding and self realization must be the solution then.
