I really think it relates to that medication change....the old med definitely affected her constant drive for food. Food is still a thing but nothing like it was before...kinda major!

Bless whoever sent the Dynavox! Its ridiculous that insurance thinks she doesn't have the desire to communicate. She got obviously excited when yall opened that package (which could be coincidence, but still) and common sense would tell you that it's human nature to communicate, and autistic ppl are no exception. I hope it works better for her than the iPad!

I was crying with you!! 😙I am a preschool educator and recently added an amazing little boy with autism. I am using so much that I learn from watching you. We incorporate these strategies into his daily routine with us! He was refused by 4 preschools before us and I refused to be the 5th. Before he started, I used your videos to show the class what they might experience when he joined us. It gave them a chance to ask honest questions and prepare themselves to behave appropriately as a friend. I also added an extra teacher so he got the attention he deserved & his sweet Mom could finally get a yes to her son's need for preschool. He's been with us now for 6 months, and he has blessed us far more than we ever could return the favor to him. What you as a channel and a family are doing, IS making a huge difference in not only Abbie's life, but others as well!!!! Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!!!

Our 5 year old Daughter recently started talking AFTER loads of therapies. Her ABA Therapist through Centria located in Novi, Michigan taught our Charlie how to talk by using a musical clicker. For EVERY word her therapist would click the clicker. When we don't have the clicker we tap on ourselves like on our leg or stomach and Charlie parrots EVERY word we ask her to say😇
