Awww. I love when random kids come up to you and decide you are their new friend. I teach high school so I guess I give off a "I will listen to your life story" vibe. It brightens up my day and I try to just enjoy those moments when a neighbour's kid tells me about their day, or some unexpected silly story about the time their brother's friend's pet did this one thing.

I think its so cool that Abbie can swim. I have high functioning autism and I don't know how to swim. So it just shows that we all have different skills and it doesnt matter if we are "high" functioning or "low" functioning.

I bawled like a baby when my son got married. Don't worry Priscilla, he seems to be tight with both you and his Dad, so even if he goes off and travels or wherever he is in life, he'll always come home. That's where he was loved first. Abby was so sweet when she hugged you. It's sweet to see her connection with her Mama.

Priscilla I so understand the whole crying thing when the oldest does something for the first time without any help such as the passport or going on there very first trip without having to have permission. The thing that gets me is them turning a whole year older my son will be 20 years old on the 21st of this month still dont know how I feel about that when I look at him I still see a 5 year old little boy😢. And I thought my mom was so silly for crying about those things when I was young oh the things we learn as we get older. Keep that chin up mom abby will be there for the hugs. sorry this is so long much love from the state of virginia

Anyway you and Asa are looking trimmer no joke. That pool looks so fun I wish I had a pool that I can jump in every day that would just be like a cherry on the cake. Oh Priscilla, I feel you!!! My oldest is 22. At 19 he moved out to live with his girlfriend at college. The day before he left I was on the floor sobbing uncontrollably. Fast forward to current time....he just moved back home again. At least he will only be gone a few weeks. Abbie will keep you occupied. When my oldest left, I cried because Zack, who has autism, would loose his best friend. Take my advice, don’t do that! It’s s horrible place to be. It took me weeks to get over it. You will be just fine!
