I think it's very interesting.., as well as the fact that Changsheng (the snake) has human eyes while Baizhu has snake eyes. What is up with that? Why the snake has his eyes? And why every time they show us the snake in the game they make sure to zoom in on his head with human eyes?

Changsheng is an Elapid. It's a type of snake with round pupils. Examples are cobra, black mamba, king snake etc. Another type of snake is Viper, this is the type of snake with cat like pupils. Examples are rattlesnake, puff adder, pit viper etc.

For physical similarities, there's also an accessory hanging off Baizhu's jacket/top that resembles the fatui insignia, like the ring on Regrator's finger. he’s also known as the regrator and i don’t know if you remember but in the liyue archon quest, you and zhongli ask to purchase a type of incense and baizhu charges you 3 million mora. Child later appears and speaks to baizhu, he says it’s an honour to talk to the DR and suggests a collaboration between the fatui and bubu pharmacy which baizhu accepts. i highly recommend going back and watching/listening to all of baizhus lines and cutscenes, definitely food for thought! edit: he also has many snake motifs, and in the Bible and Christianity serpents represent deception and evil, which is worth note, considering genshin takes inspiration from lots of different religions and cultures. Christianity being one of them.

Baizhu and Changsheng seem to be based on the Chinese legend of the white and green snake. The legend itself has a lot of different versions so it's hard to tell which one they could be referencing from, but I wouldn't be surprised if Pantalone ends up related to that legend in some way too. Another thing that comes to mind is some kind of body/soul swap, since Dottore has clones and Marionette can build cyborgs, maybe there was some switcheroo between Baizhu, Changsheng and Pantalone or Pantalone is a zombie/Baizhu proxy...? Idk, either way I can't wait to play Baizhu, he piqued my interest from his debut, the moment I get my hands on him he'll be triple crowned and never leaving my party.

Being one of Dottore's segment makes more sense than being one with Pantalone just because of physical features and mad drive. Since both Dottore and Baizhu are doctors and are somehow connected to dendro. In addition, with Dottore conducting experiments on Collei as Baizhu studying Qiqi. Dunno. But just saying and my idea is non-canonical though. Lol. Aside from that, when someone in Liyue is ill, it is Baizhu afterall who's responsible to heal them cuz he's the known doctor in Liyue. So him being there on the quest to take out the poison to Qixing gramps is only natural.

If you look at the ring on Pantalone's right (?) hand, it's a simple band with a decorative circle. Call it a reach, but it could be a stylized snake in reference to Changsheng & Baizhu. It would be an interesting twist if Changsheng and Baizhu share the same body, with Changsheng actually being Pantalone and them switching off as needed. That could explain how their voices are similar, but different. This could also explain why Baizhu has a vision and Pantalone does not. The individual determines the vision, not the physical form. Baizhu's vision could also be fake. As far as I'm aware, we've never seen him use it. Pantalone certainly has enough connections to acquire one. I still say they're brothers or related in some way. No way to know though until they tell us :)

Small detail I noticed but the geo and anemo gnosis are present on the chessboard acting as pieces, Geo the rook and anemo the Queen. The thing is that in this clip we see that a knight is used to knock over a pawn before a fire lotus lands on the pawn. Lol Baizhu is the most elusive character, he could have been the Dendro Archon, a zombie controlled by a snake and now he could low key be one of the Fatui Harbingers hiding in plain sight. I mean, Dottore has clones, Sandrone could low key be a literal puppet of Guizhong, Scaramouche is a puppet of Raiden, like, it honestly wouldn't even be much of a stretch at this point, especially with the money thing and Baizhu fully charges insane prices, not to mention the symbolism of Dendro, seeking knowledge, goes pretty well with a guy frustrated with the gods seeking out means to get wealth and power. I know this is off topic and theirs barely any evidence of this, but…What if Pierro is Kaeya’s dad? I mean from what I remember most khaenrians’ either died or became monsters? So Kaeya and possibly his father ended up surviving the war without turning into monsters. It’s not every day that we see a khaenrian walking around, and the only 2 that we know of canonically is Dainsleif and Kaeya. Just like what Childe said, most of the harbingers have their agendas and their personal reason to join the Fatui. Pierro probably has his own reasons as well, and since we all know that Tsaritsa wants to end Celestia, what if Pierro made a deal with The Tsaritsa that involved Kaeya being the “last hope?” Like perhaps his plan was to make Kaeya work with Mondstat as a Knight adopted by a well esteemed businessman, so Kaeya would grow up with a good reputation and be considered Trustworthy all around Mondstat. Eventually having his Reputation be known around Teyvet, would give him more opportunities to create secret plans. While all of this is happening, Pierro works with the Tsaritsa with her grand Gnosis plan. All the while his “Hypothetical” Son Kaeya is working with the good side for his Father and not for the Fatui?

I don't think he would be his dad. Maybe his grandfather? Kaeya did mention his grandfather finding a legendary sword which people speculate is the Traveler's sword when they had to let go of it during the fight with the unknown sovereign 500 years ago or more. Pierro probably has been a Fatui harbinger since then because an unknown ruler from an unknown country (prob Khaenri'ah) said Pierro wasnt as clever as sages which he didn't take well and left. Around 500 years ago, he recruited Signora so it would make sense. Though this is a theory. Pierro also has a streak of hair that is the same colour as most of Kaeya's hair and vice versa + same pupil as ppl from Khaenri'ah (Kaeya, Dain, Halfdan)

So baizhu’s been released for a while and some things are revealed. Baizhu’s illness is from curing other patients, baizhu’s eyes and changsheng’s eyes are swapped due to thier contract, and baizhu is defiantly someone who is very greedy (seeking immortality and all that), even if that greed comes from a good place. I speculate that baizhu’s hair could also been turned green.

Haven't been playing Genshin for long, but do we ever see Baizhu actually use his dendro abilities? He's not a playable character, despite being introduced fairly early on in game and from what I'm seeing he doesn't take part in any fight scenes. Is it possible he's wearing a fake vision? Like the ones used by Venti and Zhongli, or the ones used in Inazuma to fool the collectors. For someone famous for not having a vision, it would be the easiest way to fool npcs and gamers alike. His pursuit of wealth and eternal life are also not necessarily independent of one another. His beef is with the gods, and while monetary wealth can even the odds a bit, mortality is still a major barrier between the two. It could be that Pantelone is using his Baizhu persona to pursue one goal as he continues to sustain his first one....though, how a man can maintain two workaholic personas in different parts of the world is a question I don't think even the gods could answer

I saw some theory that baizhu was actually the real dendro archon awhile back (so I’m not so sure if the theory matches with the leaks atm) but basically there was a fake dendro archon and baizhu was the real one since this would match up with the dendro slimes story (all slime story’s match the story of its according archon element) but if that were the case then perhaps pantalone has something to do with this if he has some connections with baizhu and that would explain why they announced the fatui members right after the sumeru teaser. It could also be why leakers say it’d be a big spoil if they leaked his story- bc he might be apart of the archon quest. I don't think they are the same person, I more think that they are twins. Why? Because they have different voices and Baizhu doesn't look like he likes the fatui that much.
