Faulty Ignition Circuit Opel Zafira

Today we going to try to diagnose this Opel Zafira A , with 1.8 , X18XE1 engine . The car came to the shop missfiring like crazy and it was pretty much undriveable . The code that was stored in the ECU memory was :
P0352 Ignition Coil B Primary / Secondary Circuit - Present

Another good video. Proper testing procedure. But after ECU repair I would check again that primary current, just to be sure the bad coil didn't spike ECU driver. In this case not that much important but if you have several hundred euros ECU... I use Picoscope, it's not that expensive for what it's worth. It's 4225 two channels. 900 euros in Serbia but really great tool. Greatings from Serbia and Happy New Year

My astra H 1,6 gasoline has misfire on cylinder 1,2,3,4 ,after deleting error codes with delphi tester it’s showing misfire on cylinder 1 ,sometimes works smoothly sometimes not ,the problem should be the ECU ???

i would unplug coil pack and check for short circuit to ground as any short would stop all signal from ecu

Hi plz need help or some advice I have the exact car and engine. I recently had to change my rocket cover gasket as I noticed when doing a service on my car and changing plugs there was oil around plugs. This has been replaced and new plugs inserted but noticed the coil pack and slight bit of oil in power pack tubes. Seems light but condensation too. Would this or shorted the power pack as my car seems to be running ok but while driving and putting foot down the car will pull back sometimes. I recently had engine light saying lambda sensor and replaced.... no light now but still pulling back now and then. You help would be appreciated

If the spark doesn't have where to go , it goes directly back to the ignition coil . All that energy is returning back to the source . If this continue happening for a long period of time , this can lead to a damaged coil pack . Engine oil is adding resistance , which is doing exactly that , restricting the spark to go to the central electrod of the spark plug .

@@crank3646 thanks mate I've been told that a dodgy power pack dosent always bring up the engine light. So far since I've had car I've replaced the lambda sensor twice , power pack twice this will be 3rd this weekend 1 egr valve and 1 o2 sensor getting bit pissed now lol thanks for your reply mate aprecciate it 👍

Also mate just wondering do you know of any cheap code readers that work on this model. Another problem I've had in the past some garages code readers wouldn't read. Only my dad's snap on 1 worked but he lives 500 miles away lol
