I actually went out and got a salt cellar and that mandolin yesterday! I've had pricier mandolins in the past but hated changing the blades and the stands were unsteady. This OXO one is super simple. I used it last night and can't believe how well it worked for the price. I hope the blade doesn't dull quickly because otherwise it's fantastic!

I second the recommendation for the egg timer! Because I live at a high altitude, soft-boiling eggs can be tricky. The usual recommended times just don't work. The color-changing timer reacts to the heat, not a timer, so it works no matter how many eggs are in the pot and no matter what altitude you're at. Highly recommended!

Oh yeah, my type of video. I'm moving into my own place soon so I researched and made a list of things I would need. I went and bought everything for my bathroom and kitchen. later that week some of my kitchen things were stolen. Luckily, they were some basic things. I didn't know they still made citrus magic. My grandmother always had this in her linen closet. When I was really young, probably about 4 or 5, I got into her linen closet and found the citrus magic, I thought it was perfume. We were getting ready to walk out the door for church, I sprayed this stuff all over me, ran to her car and jumped in. Needless to say I sat alone in Sunday school that day! That was about 26 years ago 😂

Joseph Joseph handi-grate 2 in 1 mini grater/slicer. I love this to shave radishes, instead of pulling out a mandolin. I like doing avocado toast and shaving radishes on top.

Love the perfect egg timer. That is something I need in my kitchen. I love over medium eggs but never really had it as a poached egg. Thanks for that. I haven't seen you make baked healthy desserts. I love my hamilton beach 6 speed hand mixer. I have had a lot of other high end mixers but this one does the job better then the others. Maybe you can try making some healthy breads, cupcakes, cookies.. stuff like that. please 🙏🏽

I mean, you can never really have too many spatulas and silicone pot holders right? If you ever get out to the West Coast, you've got to go to a Daiso. Or take a trip to Japan and check out any 100 yen store. Some of the nifty gadgets for super cheap.

I've had the egg timer for about 10 years and about four months ago mine got lost I think it got tossed in the garbage so I had to go buy another one but I love it and it lasts a long time

the mandolin I have one I've had it for years and I I use it for everything from slicing onions tomatoes for fried potatoes etc etc I got mine at the Goodwill about 6 yr go.

You need an Dash Go rapid egg cooker, it does hard, medium, soft boiled, omlets, and poached eggs... it's amazing and about $20.

Our apple corer slicer gets daily use in our house. And because I love having sharp knives, our chefs choice electric knife sharpener. I had a manual one but if your knives get really damaged you can't save them using the manual one.
