I find nice tops hard to find too. I like Tikiboo leggings for fun patterns. Love the Sweaty Betty Power leggings, especially for the 7/8 length, normally full length is too long. Their Challenge shorts are good for running, they’re the two layer type.

Thank you for mentioning that Sweaty Betty is on the tall side! I’m 5’11” and it’s so hard to find long enough sportswear. The waist height and length of legs/sleeves are always too short for me. I’ll keep an eye out for the Peloton review, we’ve been thinking about getting one for a while.

I used to be someone who wouldn’t wear just a sports bra/crop top when exercising, but one of my challenges to myself this year is to work on that by just doing it. Sometimes I’m still insecure, but it’s better than overheating (I live in California) and I also have every right to exist and exercise in what feels comfortable, and it is starting to! It takes time to get used to, but I’d recommend to anyone who thinks they can’t workout in just a sports bra or whatever that you CAN! ❤️

That is a very good point! For me it’s not really about what other people think, I just feel more comfortable with a top. I also think it does make a huge difference with the weather, if I’m ever super super hot on the bike, I’ll take my shirt off... but it’s rarely that hot outside in England that wearing a tank top would make things difficult 😂

If you like pockets and sustainable leggings try Girlfriend Collective! They do some gorgeous colors, agave is by far my favorite 😍 They recycle water bottles into their leggings and bras and they are SO buttery. The leggings are super high waisted and keep me feeling so secure.

My main complaint with workout gear is so many of the tops are short. Requires wearing very skimpy undergarments on the bottom half to not have a visible line in leggings (which is not happening, that's no longer comfy). I've found a couple of body skimming, long moisture-wicking shirts but I wish they were more widely available.

Hi Amy I work at sweaty betty. I would go for a small in sweaty betty lettings if you are going for a super sculpt or a power leggings. if you are closer to a size 12 and looking for a zero gravity go for a M as the fabric is much much tighter. SB also do free returns so anything that doesn't fit as you wish you can just send it back!. For tops you would be a small :)

It’s interesting what you say about the founder of SB being tall; I find that SB tops are all too short and looked cropped on me. I’m 5’8”. Having seen you try on several of those tops, I can see that they are the right length on you so they would be too short on me. They look fab on you but are going to be too short on me. Sad times.

I was really disappointed with lululemon, I’ve had my yoga leggings for around 3 months, I am constantly pulling them up, I can’t do yoga or go for a walk in them because they just slide down to far, they have also bobbled and laddered really bad.
