Big virtual hug to you both! I have no questions, just a plea, please please please I beg you take a longer break, take 6 months off if you can, trust me Kelli, you have built a tremendous library of workout videos over 9 years, your breaks will never affect the workout schedule of your audience. I've been with you 7 years and I know what I'm talking about. You have taken breaks before and it never stopped me. Please my dears take as long a break as you need and take good care of yourselves. We could figure out a way for you to not miss working too much, maybe social media updates you could check to see people's progress? I'll do jump squats for you Kelli! I shouldn't, knee problem, but sometimes can't resist them! It will be fine, just be fine yourselves first please! Much love. -Mariam

Kelli, you won’t BE the storm. You ARE the storm. Still. At 30 years old, i was in the best shape of my life. Running half marathons, training for my black belt, and doing my FB HIIT workouts. But a whirlwind and lifetime of stress broke loose, and I developed Fibromyalgia. I quickly went from running 8-10 miles, to not being able to walk. After a year of being housebound, I slowly started to rebuild. It’s 2 years now, and I just broke my 11 mile mark for weekly distance run and reincorporated the FB HIIT workouts. I never stopped being a force, I just had to put my fight somewhere else for a time and it’s brought me back stronger and with more tools to grow in my fitness journey. It’s definitely a traumatic thing to lose control of your body with no idea of timelines or answers. But you haven’t changed in terms of the storm you are. It takes just as much strength to get through a workout as it does to push through the pain of illness.

I didn't think I could respect you two any more than I already did, but you just proved me wrong. As usual, you two handle yourselves with the honesty and transparency your followers have come to expect and admire. THANK YOU for keeping us in the loop and be confident you've left us plenty to keep us busy in the meantime. I feel I can safely speak for many of us when I say we would rather you take off all the time you need and heal properly, both physically and mentally, than new workouts. You've both given so much to so many, now time to turn that generosity and care back towards yourself. I wish you a speedy recovery!

You guys have changed my life FOREVER. I know I've said this before over the years. I started with you guys after my first pregnancy in 2015. I was 195 and I started doing your routines, and walking. EVentually I was doing HIIT, barre, etc like it was no problem. I learned about good form. I learned about eating healthful foods (even how to prep them, etc. I bought the 4 week meal plan, it was AMAZING!). You guys have made me a better me. The me I have always wanted to be, but i didn't know how to get there, and was afraid to try. I got down to 145, started doing martial arts, and was doing combat conditioning for MMA training. It was a whole new world for me. All because I had your help. You two beautiful people changed my life. And after baby number 2, i was up about 35 lbs. I've been working out again for the last few months, and i'm down to 151. I HAVE ABS SHOWING THROUGH NOW! Never thought that was going to happen. lol Guys, you are awesome. People like you need to live a very long time because you keep the rest of us from falling behind. So take care of yourselves. I know I'll be waiting for your return, Kelli, and I can't wait to participate in what Fitness Blender becomes. Thank you for all you do.

What I love about FB is you guys! The workouts of fun and entertaining, even if I've done them over and over again. The goal that you have always pushed is to be safe and healthy-- and I hope that both of you can do that successfully. I wish you all the best! You and your videos have helped me and my own personal mental health struggles. Last December I was having daily panic attacks and constant anxiety. I re-started doing videos daily, just to get up and moving. Now, I haven't had a panic attack in months and I started taking more time for myself, instead of focusing solely on what was going wrong in my life. I cannot thank you enough!

Kelli, you are not the problem. Over the past many years, you and Daniel have offered solutions for so many people looking to get healthy. Life has a way of throwing us obstacles and roadblocks along the way...believe me...I know from personal experience. When I was the fittest I'd ever been, life threw me a major roadblock and I ended up having heart surgery. Your videos helped me get back on track For that I thank you. You already have the tools (support of family and friends, a fit body, an awesome personality) available to you to help you get through this. I have been following you guys since your early days and you are always so helpful, unselfish, and motivating. You deserve a break. Now is the time to scale back and take care of yourself, get healthy, and recharge. You and Daniel gave us hundresds of videos. We will be fine in the interim. Thank you. God bless.

Kelli, you are a rockstar. You’ve always taken such good care of us, we will wait as long as we have to while you take care of yourself for a change. I’ve dealt with a neurological pain disorder as well, and for years I tried to “work through it” and it got to the point that I couldn’t even make it to my mailbox without breaking into tears from pain and discomfort. My medical team finally convinced me to set everything else aside and “do me” for a while and I came out the other side not only physically better, but mentally healthier too. These days I almost never have a flair up, maybe a 2-3 day period every 4-6 months or so. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, so you keep doing what you and your doctors need you to do. Getting you healthy is 100% more important to us than a new video every week. We’ve got hundreds to hold us over until you’re ready.

Hey, Daniel and Kelly. I just wanted to use this opportunity to thank you for all of your work. I am a 28 year old man from Germany and for the most part of these 28 years I just was a very lazy person. I ate very unhealthy, sport was not a thing to me.... And while I was good at everything I did, successful in my job, surrounded by loving friends and family...i didn't held myself very high. I got diabetis, high blood pressure, chronical pain in my lower back, achilles tendon, hand- and foot ankle.... I felt miserable! I was depressed, unconfidant and felt as if the world was against me even though I was my biggest enemy. I tried to get out of this pattern more times than I can count. Each time I startet with great enthusiasm and gave up as quickly as I started. I used every excuse I could to quit. And then I remembered, doing your workouts several years ago. And I decided to give it a try again. I started with one of your 5 Day Challenges....and after the first workout I was aching for three days. But I felt as good as I hadn't in years. I did the next one as soon as I could move easily again....and completed all 5 Workouts. Not in 5 Days, but i was proud nonetheless. After that I tackled the challenge with all 5 workouts in 5 days. And I was able to do it! And I had fun doing it! I registered on your website and bought one of your FB Fit Programs....since then I didn't miss a day! The next program is allready bought and scheduled in my calender. My achilles tendon doesn't hurt anymore, my ankles don't hurt anymore, my lower back is allready much better. I lost weight, I see changes in my body, I feel a lot better. Each workout is a relief for me. After I finished one of your workouts, I just feel good. All the negative thoughts are out of my system. For the first time in my life I look at sport not as something I have to do because my doctor told me so, but as something that drastically improves my quality of life. For the first time in my life I enjoy sport. For the first time in my life I care about my body. For the first time in my life I see the positive effect on my mental health and day by day life. I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am for your work. Your workouts are well designed, fun and motivating...and you really changed my life for good! I wish you all the best and looking forward to the storm that is coming! Take all the time you need and I am sure that you will crush the challenges that lie in front of you! We don't know each other in person but I believe in you! Love and respect Erik

I love how real and honest both of you have always been. I've been doing your workouts for almost 6 years now and I know I am in much better shape because of them. Your videos have given me the permission to quit boring cardio (*yuk treadmills*) and focus on getting stronger. Kelli, take more time off than you think you need. Our bodies find a way to nudge us and say "hello, I need some love and attention". Listen to your body and do not even for a second think that taking a break will impact your audience or business negatively. You've given so much to your community and this community will be waiting for you when you're ready to return. Daniel- take care of this lovely lady and of yourself. Hi Kelly Thank you for sharing, you are so right to be transparent and not just project the ‘perfect’ image... I too was struck down with neuralgias (specifically Trigeminal and other cranial nerves but also complex pain from that which creeps down my upper body and spine)... Along with chronic fatigue my world was tipped upside down, leading into chronic anxiety, panic attacks and not feeling at home in my body at all... I was Bedbound for 2 years and largely housebound since then... BUT, with research and dedication (and lots of rest rest rest & destress) things have improved... In fact, finding fitness blender was part of my recovery (mostly my recovery from being bedbound and inactive, rebuilding myself in a gentle way & attempting to burn off some of the fat I have gathered from being ill!) As a person with chronic pain, I found you to be the best teacher for this part of my journey, so was brought to tears watching your video today and reading this blog... Just know that when you are ready to come at this from your new angle you will be an amazing source of inspiration to others trying to climb into better health from various ailments, and you have the perfect character to lead from this new understanding you are gaining of the body and all the freaky things it can do to impede us! For now though, rest, restore, seek out what you need to come to terms with your new reality, reconnect with yourself, find your inner peace & let your warrior grow from there. I’m so sorry this has happened to you, it is devastating, and hard to let others know just how much when we can look so ‘normal’, but I do look forward to continuing the fitness & health journey with you as and when you can, knowing that you can cater in a monumental way towards people like me (and you!) but not until you have fully catered for yourself first. Sending love & strength.. thank you again for sharing & being real.

Guys, thanks to you i've managed to get through the first year after my dad brutally died (last year, I was 21). I bought 2 programs and worked out with you for month, and that kept me from an even deeper depression. The fact that I was able, every moring, five days a week to get up and to one of your workouts made me feel like I had accomplished a little thing everyday, and having a sore body from the workouts made me feel more in touch with myself and reality. Now I stupidly broke my foot so I won't get a sporty summer (much to my regret) but I'll take time to take care of me. And so should you. You guys give the healthiest advice on working out and food. I love you guys because as I've never really been a skinny girl, I've never felt like my body was wrong with you. On the contrary, I learned to see my body as strong and to love it more. So please, TAKE YOUR TIME. Take good care of you, we have hundreds of videos to work out with while you recover, that's more than enough! You do a tremendous job with fitness blender, and the whole community, I'm sure, wants you to get better more than they want new content. Take care, be well and I wish you luck and courage so you can get through this. Lots of love :) Esther

I'm so sorry for what you both have been going through. For different reasons than what you've given, I completely understand and relate 100% to what you're going through. I also have had to start over, right from learning how to walk, over and over and over again. I have spent years of my life, up to six months at a time, completely disabled except to only be able to move my arms. Like you, I'm also a personal trainer, which definitely presents even more challenges when your career involves moving. I do you experience chronic pain every day, and it took 22 years for me to be diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called ankylosing spondylitis. In addition to that I also have Hashimoto's. Thankfully I found a diet and lifestyle called the auto immune protocol. It has changed if not saved my life. I have now been able to go for the longest amount of time possible while still being able to walk. People can't possibly understand unless they've experienced it, how devastating stress can be to their health, and how much it can trigger a relapse. I also have dealt with people thinking that because stress affects me so profoundly, that I must be weak. Like you said, you push too hard for too long, and your body will pushback. It's people who are strong, warriors, who go through things like this. You have such a strong positive attitude, and I believe that you will come back, stronger than ever like Daniel said. I've been going through this for 28 years now, and if you ever need a friend to talk to who truly understands what it's like to go through things like this, I'm only a phone call or email away. In fact I'm actually only a short drive away! In my experience finding someone who really gets it, is the best kind of therapy there is. I'm so happy that you have each other, that support is priceless. Big hugs and take your time, take care of yourself, and I'll be saying prayers for you both. Thank you so much for all you've done for me, for this community, and for the world as a whole. I have always recommended fitness blender two people looking for a resource as I have always truly believed in you two, and in what you do. God bless!

I deeply admire your honesty and vulnerability. I'm so sorry you've been dealing with nerve pain. It took me a long time to recover from pelvic nerve pain, but I recovered. Fully. Like you said, do it right the first time, no matter how long it takes. Thank you so much for sharing your situation with healthy boundaries. I respect your approach so much and it provides a healthy example to others about taking breaks and sharing only what you feel solid about sharing in your own time. I know how much emotional work it takes to be that strong. I see you. And I see your supportive husband and your strong bond. I wish you well in your recovery.

Awww guys, like everyone else said, take as much time as you need. Even if you don’t do regular updates or anything. You two have helped me and so many others with thousands of videos. And everything you are saying about stress is so true. I am trying to convey that to my mother who has suffered and is still suffering many ailments due to a life full of stress. She just focuses on the ailment, when it’s clearly the stress that is the root of her problems. I love that you two are so strong even in this tough time, and overall staying positive. Your KZbin family is here rooting for and supporting you! ❤️

Every injury and health issue I have encountered has only made me better and stronger in the end ... you will get through this and what you will learn on this journey will benefit you and so many others in the end ... because you are not a quitter and you will not stop until you figure this out ... Love you Kelli ... stay strong 🤗 💛❤️

Guys you have been a huge help for all of us so count that all that selflessness will come back to you with HUGE amounts of wellness and blessings. A couple times in my life i had big health scares/surgeries that stop me for few months of cardio and strenuous activity and what helped me was God, meditation and yoga!! sometimes the universe has a message and stops everything in our life to wake us up. You will recover don't push it, live it , understand what is that you need to learn and come back to us when you do. We love you guys!

Dear Kelli, I hope you know how much we all love you. Take as much time as you need but please please please take care of your health and your body, make everything what's best for it. I remember you telling in one of the workout videos that you feel like a warrior woman (when doing a kettlebell exercise). You're always a warrior woman, remember that! You're our hero! You'll go through this thing and you'll be stronger than ever! We all know that! Keep strong, dear Kelli, we are all with you. Love from Russia

I could never tell you both how inspirational and amazing you have been for me and the KZbin community. To provide countless free workouts, tips, food options, etc. for years is an incredible gift. I have been doing your workouts on and off for years, and understand the pain you are and have experienced previously to your newest setback. I hope you will make a speedy recovery and have the ability to get right back into what you love. I recently found out I have scoliosis and your videos have helped me to relieve so many of the symptoms, and have as well provided numerous options to strengthen and benefit my body despite some of the new setbacks I am experiencing! We love you both and understand wholeheartedly how much it means to have a healthy and fully functioning body. Never take anything for granted! Love you both! ❤️

Prayers for healing Kelli! You both are so amazing and I just LOVE your workouts. We’ve got plenty here to keep busy as you heal. Because of your workouts I was able to heal from ankle tendon tears with no surgery. It took a long time and was frustrating but I couldn’t have done it without you all to inspire me! Thank you thank you thank you so much for all that you do here! Can’t wait to see what you have next for us!

Dear Kelly, It's about time to tell you my story :) I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis about 1.5 years ago. I used to run before that along with doing some yoga, cardio and Zomba here and there, never tried strength training or anything else for real. I didn’t know what to do at first. I was a bit like you, being chubby from childhood, learnt to eat healthy after various diets and moving regularly, I was living a healthy life and there was nothing else I could do for myself to feel better. (Later I read this story about a healthy sportsman who got sick and someone told him: “The reason you took such great care of yourself was not to avoid this. It was to survive this.” Helped me a lot.) Honestly, I think I was lucky in my misery. My symptoms were-are mostly tingling and numbness and of course weakness, fatigue and a little bit of pain everywhere (easy, right? ;) ). After struggling with the new conditions for 1 whole year and trying to fit in my new strange-feeling body, I started running and doing workouts again with Fitness Blender six months ago. Tried a lot of things (oh how I was excited about kickboxing), got a lot stronger. Some of them are still hard for me, more than 1 HIIT session per month and I should lie down for a whole week. But that’s enough for me. I ran 10k last week, exactly the distance I ran a week before MS. I think you understand how I felt proud of myself. A lot of this I owe to you and your videos. I never thanked you guys for what you’ve done for me in my darkest days. Now I do. You brought me something to do, something to look forward to and I wanna tell you that no matter how hard and unbearable, these days will pass. You may change, you may never feel like your old self again, but you will gonna be stronger than ever. Just give yourself enough time. lots of love ❤️

There are no words to describe my respect, admiration, and gratefullness for you both. You have helped me in such a way that I didnt even realize before. I too have had a recent injury that has really put such a strain in so many areas of my life. So trust me when I say I understand your need for a decent squat or star jump. I will keep you in my prayers and I truly hope you come through this better than ever.

You guys got me hooked on fitness 4 years ago and being even healthier than I used to be. This video hit me hard, as I have been dealing with severe generalized panic disorder lately, to the point that I couldn't even move and could barely even leave my bed - mainly because of work-related stress - and because of YOU guys I'm doing better, working out with you has been a HUGE part of my recovery process these past few months, and I THANK YOU IMMENSELY for that. You put amazing content out, with your heart, and it shows. I look forward to continuing working out with you for many, many years to come. Best wishes for you guys. Have a speedy recovery, Kelli, you are in my thoughts! Much light, and may you have a successful recovery. - Eduardo.

Thanks for sharing where you guys are at. I have been doing FB workouts since 2013 and just re-started a new round of one of your programmes in the midst of a very stressful and difficult season in life. I started it knowing I would have a difficult time sticking to workouts because the stress is debilitating, mentally and physically. Hearing about your struggles and knowing others out there are going through tough things helps me to keep things in perspective and remember that is about more than just a workout. It's a blessing to work out with you and share in your struggles--think of how many people are going through their own difficulties and come to Fitness Blender for hope and a moment of normalcy in their day. Thanks for setting up this community and remember that we're not just here for the workouts, we're here because we care and feel your pain as well. Take good care of yourselves, not just now but always!

A big hug to you both! Take as much time as you need and DO NOT RUSH the process of healing. You have a large "family" of followers who want you to be the best possible you, inside and out. Some things that have helped me with my healing process (I developed a dangerous ventricular issues after years of being an endurance athlete that has no treatment or cure) is meditation, kundalini yoga, and praying to whatever you believe in. I too crave jump squats and Hiit... there are days where my body is rested and ready, there are months where I'm doing modified versions for everything and have to hit the pause button a lot. Be kind to yourself, love yourself, be patient, and you are going to come back stronger than you ever imagined. It may be different than the expectations you planned for yourself, but you if are open to the change, you will view this time as turning point in your life for the better. Thank you for sharing your journey. I look forward to seeing you on the flip side of this!

I appreciate you sharing your story. It's so true what you said about appreciating what we can do with our bodies. I was healthy all my life and than 3 years ago I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma and had 5 compression fractures in my lower back. Because of that, I'm unable to do the things I was able to do before. I wasn't able to walk for months and had to go through rehabilitation for a while. Prayers are going your way. So many people have benefited from your videos and I believe going forward so many more are going to benefit. I have been searching for fitness routines that have less impact on my bones and the pain I have in my back. Please take good care of yourself and know situations happen for a reason and it could be for people like me who can have a fitness plan/health plan that can help with pain. Continued prayers going your way and I appreciate the positive attitude you have regarding fighting this condition and overcoming!! You will overcome, I stand with you!!
