I just found your channel and it’s so helpful to me. I wish I had the balls to do it by myself. I had someone come and give me an estimate for my food trailer 14 foot and it’s very small still need three sinks and the water tanks and that man wants almost $5000 plus I buy the sinks and the tanks. It seems pretty outrageous. Is this what it usually cost? Do you know?

Frank, your trailer building videos have been a great resource as we build our trailer. We are at the plumbing stage in NW Illinois and being told we have to use an air gap for our drains into the holding tank. Do you know if there is written approval in state code for the use of the backflow valve? I’d like to be able to argue the point with the state plumbing inspector. Our small county has no rules specifically for trailers.

Hey Frank, does my water heater and water pump both need to be on a switched plug? Or is one switched and the other not switched?

@Luvariana1 water heater well the one I use runs on propane. The water pump yes on switch

Hey Frank, thank you for all your videos! I am currently in the research phase of building a mobile bar. I am trying to calculate my total electrical load. I am going to run two fridges at 1.3 amps each, a water pump that is 1.2 amps, a kegerator that is 105 W/110-120 volts/ 15 amp recommended circuit, an ice maker at 7 amps, a hot water heater rated at 12 amps, and a 4 pack recessed light system rated at 120v/110 w. Since I am in Texas I also want to make space for a portable A/C that is rated at 115v/1100w and a 15 amp recommended breaker. I plan on using a siemens 125 amp 8 space circuit box with a 50 amp generator inlet box and 50 amp service cable. Would that be sufficient to operate the electrical system? Thanks in advance for any help!
