I love this. I have played almost all of the Professor Layton games and I got really attached to the game play music, it helps me sleep. It would be really cool if you did some other Professor Layton games as a long play through too especially The Last Spectre, that one is my favourite.

I remember first experiencing this game when I was a child, and I remember loving the music and aesthetic of it. Needless to say, I was stoked to see this video in my recommended as to reignite those old memories of mine. And I'll be honest, being about 10 years older now than I was then, this game brought a tear to my eye. I can't fully explain what makes this game so beautiful to me, but I wish to cherish it forever. Such a tragic story so elegantly wrapped in a cloud of mystery, I never could have expected to be filled with such grief and longing after watching this entire video. I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way. Thank you for making this, I really appreciate the wave of nostalgia :')

Funny thing, while the US version was meant to sound British, Britains found it to sound mocking and just straight up bad, so they got another voice actor for Europe, which was throughout the Layton Lifespan regularly the last localisation, even though the game plays in England. Also interesting tidbit, in most languages, Luke was voiced by female actors instead of a young boy, which probably couldn't be done for legal reasons.

@@4crafters597 legal issues aren't entirely the matter here. children lend their voices to animation a lot (i recall the first voice actress for Peppa Pig has been voicing her since she was six and only stopped when she was 19). i think it's more of an issue with experience on the actor's part, and that adult actors are easier to resource than child actors

If B is lying then A is lying to. Because if B didn't see A eat the fish then A statement is false, in this puzzle its says that the 3 of them were near the scene, so for B it's impossible don't see A

I might just be dumb, but can anyone explain why the answer to puzzle 26 at 1:17:43 is 59 minutes instead of 30? Am I crazy for thinking the jar would fill up in half the time?

When starting with 1 germ it takes a whole hour to fill the jar, and it takes a single minute for a germ to multiply, so since your starting with 2 germs instead of 1, it takes one minute less to fill the jar, so it would be 59 minutes.

That's odd, it doesn't seem to be desynced on my end. It's possible KZbin's player's giving you some kind of delay with the audio. I'm not sure why, but it's done that for me a handful of times with different videos before too, which is annoying because audio desync's something I'm really conscious of :/
