@@derfdeswoasein Hi and thanks for leaving a comment! There's no need to put glass inside as the resin+filler gives already enough strength for a solid positioning. What strengthens the plug for the stress given by the water pulling the leash is the top layer only. Putting cloth inside will only lead to a messy job full of air bubbles and makes so much more work. Hope you will find my answer of help. Thanks a lot.
