I like someone whose mom died and all was going fine until recently. He said since his mom died he puts walls up and dont let anyone in and he said so if he starts to get interested in someone he naturally closes off..I like him and hes interested...what is the best thing to do? I said that if you need me to back off I understand but if you just want me to be patient I am more than happy to be.

Same. I didn't get very far with this guy whom I like. His mom died when he was 2, he's never known his dad. Things were going really well but then he got back with his ex.

Sending love to you, J (question #1). ❤️ maybe try rewriting the ending? Start with the facts/what you do know. Example - “Loving myself more doesn’t mean I risk having someone love me less. It’s the exact opposite. The more I love myself, the more likely I’ll be to find someone who can truly love me too.” Let’s say we’re working with a happy memory of a past relationship. That fact up there ^ it doesn’t solve the pain of the loss ❤️, but it may help soothe some of the accompanying anxiety that comes with it. It may help isolate the memory as a beautiful singular moment in your life while refusing to allow it influence over your future happiness. When you’re able to pull it back into perspective like that, you can rewrite the ending: “because of this past experience, I’m now putting the work into loving myself. This means I’m making myself more available to giving and receiving healthy love. So, someday, I’ll be able to fully appreciate the experience like I never have before.” Or, “because of the work I’m now doing, I trust that the version of myself that I’m becoming will find the one they’re meant to be with.”

Love your content but your sound/audio sucks!! That looks like a legit mic and yet the sound still sounds terrible.
