I always found Dennis Quaid to be a top actor. i wish he had done more movies.

Quaid is always fun to watch. I liked him in 'Dreamscape' and 'Innerspace'. He seemed to be prominent in the 1980s, then just kind of dropped off. The most recent movie I saw him was the 2011 reboot of 'Footloose', where he played the ultra-conservative church minister. He nails every role he plays.

The thing with Jaws 3D is you had to be there. Late summer 1983, as an 8 year old seeing a movie in Real 3-D for the first time blew my mind. Yeah, some of the Special Effects are a bit iffy to say the least and as mentions elsewhere it would benefit from a big budget remake. Unfortunately Jaws 3D to this day has never been as good as seeing it on the big screen at launch, it was quite epic 41 years ago. Also, rumour control, these are the facts! ;) The Urban myth at the time was during the summer of 1983 Universal Studios were paid a large sum of money by 20th Century Fox to pull Jaws 3D from its Cinema run early for some bizarre reason.... Return Of The Jedi was out at a similar time, but who knows!

The Shark in the first movie wasn't that good in the first place, it's just that since we never saw it much we didn't realize it (because it kept breaking down so Spielberg had to keep it off-screen, which ended up working out). These later ones had better working Sharks, but they still looked just as fake.
