As a dad of four girls I just have to say how proud your parents should be. That was one of the most succinct presentations I have ever seen on any subject.

I inherited the Featherweight 221K in white from my grandmother and she taught me how to sew my halter tops back in the 70's. I didn't sew very much so I've forgotten everything she taught me. I came across your video and decided I wanted to see if I could learn how to sew again. Your videos are so helpful and I'm glad to find a company I can order things to get my machine in good working order again since it's been sitting in the case in my closet for many years.

I've been wanting to use my late mother's Singer featherweight but had no clue how to set it up. She taught me when I was a young girl but I didn't retain the information. Thanks to your video series, now I know how. Now I can honor my mother by carrying on the tradition of sewing. Thank you!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your excellent threading instruction!! My grandma taught me to sew on her featherweight, but it was destroyed in the house fire, but if I win the beautiful Featherweight you're giving away, I will now know how to thread it accurately!! Looking forward to all your videos on everything there is to know about these wonderful Featherweight machines... God Bless You!! :)

So happy to see this!!!! You did an awesome job explaining and demonstrating!!!!! I can't believe I have been threading incorrectly. It was never clear to me in the area of the wire take up into the fork area. I was basically threading the hard way! Thanks so much Ruthie!

I've heard the electric cable inside the machine degrades and touches the metal body. Always inspect these before plugging - electric shock hazard on the body itself

If you put just a little spit on your finger tip and apply it to the back side of the needle hole, the spit will pull the thread through.
