Next visit you should go to Pasonanca. It's like the Maginhawa of Zamboanga. Lots of pockets of food markets to try like Ñor Ubing's in the Zamboanga Bus Terminal. Definitely Chavacano home cooking is a must try too! Estopao, Sopa de Maiz, Chavacano style Dinuguan, and Caldo Pata are some that you commonly find in Chavacano homes or your local carinderias. You won't find these in restaurants as most Chavacano households can cook these dishes very well.

I must say, I absolutely loved and enjoyed the food in Zamboanga during my first visit! The flavors and variety were truly remarkable. The culinary delights of this city pleasantly surprised and satisfied me. I had the opportunity to explore and indulge in the local cuisine, and it was a fantastic experience 🩵🩵🩵🩵

I grew up in the United States but spent part of my childhood in the Philippines, including in Zamboanga. My lolas' last names include Jamora and Racal. Thank you to Featr and Mr Erwan H for the two Zamboanga featured videos I saw just now. I like the two about Iloilo as well. I got to see another one about Bohol salt. Mga trycicle drivers talaga sa zamboanga city talagang. Macocorner ka talaga sa mga sagot nila na " depende sayo magkano" As a pasahero I don't know if magkano ang fare. Isa to sa mga dapat iayos ng mga namamahala sa syudad.
