This has become my favorite source of MTG entertainment on the internet. No one else captures paper Magic gameplay like you all do - the fun and banter, overall high level play, all of it. Maybe one day my genie lamp wish will come true and the pro tour returns with Card Market quality production!

There is! Many content creators have been pushing it recently and WotC made it an official format not too long ago. Which is fantastic, because it's a fun, diverse and accessible format!

@@CardmarketMagic I'm TO in Bremen and we are pushing it (doing it for 9ne FNM and one sunday in a month.) And we getting people form Hamburg to Oldenburg. We think it has at the moment the best Potential to speak to modern competitive player, legacy affocionados and most importantly to casuals who want to try 1v1 formats. Since Standard is realistcly dead in our area. So all the pauper content helps the Community!!

I've been running a pauper league here in Spain for the past ten years, and yeah, the format keeps growing and growing. Specially after the pandemic lockdowns, with everything returning to "normal", we've noticed the demand for the format grow spectacularly

@@TobiasLeonHaecker Play it! It's not only fun, but it's also cheap, so brew decks, go to tournaments, organize tournaments if you don't have any nearby, and experience on first hand the golden age of the format :)

As someone who just started out their own KZbin MTG Pauper channel I love that the pauper format following is continue to grow and that it's being more well received from the professional level players as well as the well established and respected MTGtube channels. Cawgate have a good mu vs terror. The big thing is to put pressure at time. But tbh Depend if you hit basilisk fast too.

It's not that hard once you show the other players around that they can make tier 1 decks for 20-50€ 😃

Not sure what happened in that game 2, was dead on board right, the cat was killed by snuff out, can't embalm at instant speed right? Then strands gets countered and he has no white creature to flashback

Strands gets countered by counterspell, then he just flashes it back in response to snuff out

Yes. Strands prevents damage, not give protection. So whether he blocks it or not, the gurmag will deal no dmg. Toffel can flashback the strands in response. Therefore he chose not to counter it, so the cat lived. Toffel scooped because he thought he would be dead the following turn, but personally i think he couldve pulled up by grinding it out with gate and lifelink.
