So many great tips! I live up in Minnesota, so we are at least a month behind you. But listening and watching your video today gets me excited for what will be happening here in about a month or so. I’ve been binge watching tons of your videos since it’s too cold to go outside yet. 🥶 A lot of the plants that you review are only hardy to zone 5. Please keep us Northerners in mind who are also following you from up in zone 4. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge!!

I am near you in New York city. I have a dwarf purple crepe myrtle that i want to transplant to a sunnier area that I have. Now, wouldn't that be considered a 'bare root' planting? If so, should I be cautious of doing it? My ground right now is too hard to dig it up.

What's your opinion on using fertilizer spikes instead of the granular type? Tanks for the tips.

Mostly unnecessary to push anything that much. A quick spring fertilizer application and keep them mulched is generally all you need unless a soil test tells you something else that you need.
