Sir Jim is a lifelong Man Utd fan and after having made a huge investment, he will be fuming, as these poor performances don't align with his big ambitions that he, us fans and stakeholders expect. It will also be affecting the club's marketability and commercial revenues. A change in management is now needed as we need to compete for major trophies soon, or we will lose our elite status. I've always believed you can pick up an indication of players desire/readiness/mentality from how they perform in warm up. Against Barnsley everyone looked sharp and up for it and interestingly that played out in the game, although, as many would point out, it was only Barnsley. Last night I spotted Bruno taking numerous practice shots on goal and he missed most of them, he then had a poor game. I like Bruno, always gives everything but he needs a rest. I questioned why he came on as sub against Barnsley when the game was won, no need!

The MUFC we grew up with and loved fought for everything (especially lost causes) and is why we were able to overhaul the likes of Newcastle, Arsenal in the 90s. All we ask is for every single player to give 100% win, lose or draw... That is the first thing we need to 'demand' of all of our players... Give 100%... Once we get the players all giving 100%, I believe we will start to turn things around... Self-belief... self-pride and self-motivation is an absolute must... Pattern the team on the first 20 minutes of how we played against CPFC, ensure the players are 100% fit to last 95+ minutes a game and get the strikers to get a higher percentage of shots on target!

I don’t know why we act like this hasn’t been united over the last 10 years. We have young players now, particularly a young frontline that we need to build over the coming years. That’s just the reality at the moment, if people honestly think another manager can change that then they’re deluded. Let Erik build this new look, young squad.
