What was wrong with the old location it was at and is Columbia Heights upgrading to all 2001-130s soon

As far as I know the only upgrades that they had planned were replacing the two Soundmaster 115s and relocating two sirens. I'm not entirely sure why they relocated as the old system seemed to work fine, but I'm not complaining because this one is a lot closer to my house than is used to be.

They also put new batteries and I think new controls on the 2001-DCs so I'd assume they have no intentions of replacing them.

The actual siren can last as long as possible. It's mainly the controls that needa be upgraded every 10-30 years or so. But it's not ENTIRELY the controls. FS says 2001's have about 20 years of life in them.
